It's always jazz o'clock somewhere, and that somewhere is wherever you hire us to show up!

The theory behind the jazz o'clock jazz ensemble is simple: provide professional entertainment, perfectly tailored to each situation and the needs of the client. The power of the jazz o'clock jazz ensemble lies in the abundant proliferation of musicians here in the bay area: artists at the vanguard of our cultural evolution, hungry for gigs, and hors d'oeuvres. We are simply a liaison. And we simultaneously some of those artists.

We can provide any lineup, solo, duo, trio, quartet, and beyond. Singers, instrumentalists, rhythm sections, horn players. Jazz, Latin, Bossa Nova, Gypsy Jazz, Funk, Swing. Whisper-quiet intimacy, or roof-toppling grooves. Our job is to curate the space, to use our ears, to meet the environment where it is, and then slowly apply pressure in the desired direction: to add playfulness, mystique, romance, celebration, whimsy, spiritual exaltation... whatever is called for.

The default vibe is probably best described as "cocktail party". Jazz being the root of most American music, we can generally branch out from there.

We don't need anything except a wall outlet.
