The music was OK. The sound system left a lot to be desired as the performers sounded garbled most of the time and you could not make out what they were singing. As for Country Western, their music is more blue grass and folk music than country. Unfortunately, the music they played did not rouse the crowd of over 157 people so no one danced. Not a bad group for outside venues I suppose, but definitely not country western material.

This is an untrue review. We are not listed on our site as Country Western , at the time we discussed services she was told we are Country/Folk as well as offer southern rock . We had 21 people at many given times line dancing , we had 6 or more couples slow dancing , couples boot scooting and have pictures to prove people were dancing all through the night . We were told at the start of the night by those sitting on the left side of the stage where there is a wall they could not hear so we adjusted the system and was told the sound was great. We were hired last minute when Debbie Forbes friend could not fulfill his favor to her to perform , also had there Commander with his wife up dancing to George Straight that we put on our set list specifically for him on his birthday , we did everything we agreed on.
Jd & Zetha bring an authentic Florida backwoods feel to their music and presentation. We have hosted them for events and music festivals and they have always been well received by my customers.
The Parrish Heritage Day Festival and Chili cook off saw over 6,000 visitors this last March in part, I believe, to the wonderful entertainment we had which included JD and Zetha. They played at the height of the festival and all I heard were good comments about how great they were. We will be sure to invite them back next year.
The music of J.D. and Zetha Lewis is like the memory of your best friend you ain't seen in a long time, all warm and familiar and filled with great times, old dogs, trailers, pickups, back 40s and a moon for every night of love and drinking and gettin' it on. Their best songs are au natural stories of Cracker people just walkin around and livin' their lives, surrounded by a peculiar karma that calls to mind a fresh cow turd on a new mown pasture. Their live performances are gold nuggets of true love and callin' hogs, all delivered with the godforsaken harmony of kickin' ass and takin' names. Sit back, watch them like a reality show and listen to some of the very best Florida music ever written, with J.D singing the lead like a pained revenooer and Zetha slappin that tambourine on her wonderful blue-jeaned hind. Just be careful. If J.D. asks you to go huntin' out on Devil's Half Acre, don't do it. Just listen to their music and you'll be just fine. Y'hear?

While only a few miles away Zetha was also raised a Florida Country Girl , she loved to ride her horses threw the orange groves and woods along the Little Manatee River .
This Spitfire Southern girl would take a twenty two rifle and hunt cotton tail rabbits . Fate would have JD and Zetha to meet and start there lives together . And so the story Unfolds ! they have been together for over thirty six years .
