JD Spencer

JD Spencer is a solo acoustic performer of his, and others music full time at venues all over the southeast and the world. One listener had this to say "If Bill Withers and Joss Stone had a kid who loved to party at Hank Jr's house so he could sit in with Widespread Panic, that kid would look like JD's music.

JD Spencer was born in Corinth, MS and showed an ability and willingness to perform for others at a very early age.

His southern upbringing in a small civil war town just a stone's throw away from the heart of the Mississippi Delta has given him an appreciation for a wide array of some of the finest music ever written.

His involvement in church activities, weddings, and other community functions has provided him with 25 years of valuable performance experience. It also influences his writing to this day.

JD continues to write and record his own songs which he performs at live shows full time all over the Southeast.

Most recently he has performed as an entertainer with Carnival Cruise Lines, and at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville. Also, he recently participated in the annual Nashville Songwriter's Festival sponsored by Curb Records which was held this year on Nashville's Music Row.
