Jeff was great, we totally enjoyed having him part of our event! He got everyone involved! It was a great team-building time, everyone had so much fun!
Can't thank Jeff enough.
Jeff spoke to a group of Fair Grove teachers in August before the start of the school year for a professional development workshop. This interactive workshop was a creative combination of comedy improv and collaborative group activities. Jeff showed us how we can use comedy improve strategies in the classroom to engage our students. I left the workshop encouraged and motivated.
Jeff performed a improv/comedy/motivational show for us at a college event for honors students. Jeff did an excellent job, everyone laughed a lot, and he was able to use his comedy and improv skills to both entertain as well as teach valuable lessons on leadership, learning, and perseverance. Jeff was a great entertainer and I would highly recommend him to others. He can tailor the event to your needs and won't disappoint.
Jeff hosted a workshop on improv and business for about 40 members of our young professional organization. The workshop was funny, interactive, and informative and we received lots of positive feedback from attendees. Would recommend!
Jeff has conducted his workshop, "Creativity in the Workplace" for my Peer Assisted Study Session Leaders at Missouri State University several times, and my staff and I have always been impressed with both the quality of his presentation and the pedagogically-sound advice he offers.
My employees are mainly students studying to be doctors, nurses, or other medical professionals, and are steeped in the sciences. PASS Leaders are hired to assist students enrolled in the most difficult courses in their majors to develop study skills strategies by conducting interactive sessions. Over time, I noted that the leaders, proficient in their fields of study, were at a loss when it came to developing interactive sessions where improvisation and creativity often led to more effective sessions. I hired Jeff Jenkins to encourage the leaders to try something new.
Jeff's training has changed the way we look at the sessions led by PASS Leaders. With increased creativity, we saw the voluntary attendance in the sessions rise. Reviews from the PASS Leaders regarding Jeff's advice have been enthusiastic and positive, with many asking when I'll bring him back. Likewise, the reviews from the students visiting with PASS Leaders have been equally strong, stating that they now enjoy the sessions much more and feel that the creativity exhibited in the sessions has contributed to success in their classes.
We invited Mr. Jenkins to do a skit for a one hour professional development day at our elementary school. We presented him with our theme and mission for the day. He did a wonderful job using comedy for a team building theme. He made us laugh, included many teachers in the skits and did it in a professional way. Everyone enjoyed his performance very much!

Improv can be defined as making it up as you go along, with no clear outcome, and responding to suggestions from those around you. Sound familiar? It’s a lot like life. How often does your day go exactly as planned? Rarely! We improvise daily, whether we realize it or not. Improv isn’t an exact science—2+2 doesn’t always equal funny. Similarly, a good situation plus a positive experience doesn’t always equal the best day ever. Chasing that goal would be exhausting. Life is full of curveballs, uncertainties, and tightrope walks. However, with the right tools and preparation, we can navigate these challenges with greater confidence.
Jeff Jenkins combines his hysterical humor with a deep understanding of how improv skills can be applied beyond the stage. By learning the same tools that professional improvisers use to create comedic situations, you can discover how to turn the improvised scenes of your day into successes. Jeff uses Applied Improvisation to transform instincts into ideas, fear into focus, and moments into momentum.
Applied improvisation takes principles, tools, and mindsets from comedy, jazz, and theatre and adapts them for non-theatrical purposes. Practitioners like Jeff facilitate workshops for individuals and organizations, using solo, paired, or group exercises, activities, and games to introduce these concepts. Participants can integrate these methods into their daily lives, enhancing personal development, team building, creativity, innovation, and overall well-being.
