Aerialist, Aerial Choreographer, Performer and Instructor
Aerial apparatus include: hammock/sling or double sling, silks, lyra (hoop), cubit, and lollipop lyra. She is an ambient and act-creating aerialist, can pour cocktails from the sky, and will create performances to match your theme.
Currently based in AZ, Jen specializes in aerial arts and is also owner of Suspended Fluidity, which provides aerial instruction, organizes aerial retreats, books entertainers and creates custom choreography for all types of events.
When not creating works for floor and air, you will find Jen teaching aerial fitness classes and working on various projects worldwide.

As a performer, Jen James has been featured on stage and in films, video and productions across the spectrum of entertainment. From dancing backup with major recording artists to hanging over the heads of thousands as an aerialist, Jen has always been recognized for her professionalism and attention to detail. She is known for her fluidity and creativity through transitions, making her a true dancer en l'air.
With a background in dance and production, Jen is able to understand the artistic and the practical when it comes to selecting and providing the perfect entertainment options for all types of events. She grew up in Arizona, graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and recently returned to AZ after years creating, performing and planning events in New York City. In addition to providing solo performances and ambient entertainment, her company provides customized dance and aerial based entertainment.
For aerial work:
- Venue must have at least 12' of height, an approved rigging point and access to that point
- She has a freestanding rig (max height 24' with a 20x20 footprint) and a lollipop pole/hoop (minimum height 13' and 6x6 footprint) available for rent and use when you book her as talent.

If serving drinks from the sky, it is helpful to provide a table with drinkware and easy access to beverage bottles
