As a former project manager, I know it's important to have your expectations met by a hired performer. I will always discuss with you in advance to work out the best service for your event. For standup, I can do completely clean comedy to racy/dirty. I incorporate some light crowd work in my act. For hosting/MCing/facilitating, I take pride in delivering my client's goals, including key messages in an engaging and memorable way.
Jen Sakato is a standup comedian and host/MC born and raised in Toronto. She performs at a variety of events including weddings, corporate functions, parties, meetups. She has performed at the San Diego Comedy Festival and across Canada and Asia. She is the first Asian female to have performed on Kenny Robinson's legendary Nubian show.
Her Japanese-Canadian upbringing is a favorite part of her act among audiences and relatable to many cultures.
Catch her performing regularly around Toronto! She also hosts a monthly all-female standup show at Toronto's only 420-friendly comedy club as well as a weekly show at the Cameron House.
I will need a working sound system (please ensure it has been tested before the day of the event), microphone and stand (stand optional) and spotlight.
