Jennifer was great. She played our wedding and her beautiful sound made all the difference. Hire her - she's great!
Jennifer's cello performance added a touch of magic to our ceremony. Her music, filled with emotion and warmth, perfectly captured the love and joy of our special day. More than her incredible talent, Jennifer's kind and gentle presence made our moments together even more memorable. We felt truly blessed to have her with us, making our day all the more special with her beautiful melodies and warm heart. Thank you, Jennifer, for filling our ceremony with love and music.
We booked Jennifer to play during our wedding ceremony. She was able to accommodate all of our song requests and also found accompanying sheet music for the pianist at our church. Jennifer played superbly during the ceremony, we received a lot of compliments afterwards about the music!
Jennifer helped created a beautiful ambience while playing and welcoming our guests to the Official dinner of the Billie Jean King Cup during the cocktail reception. She is very talented, highly professional and has the ability to play a large range of music, which most recognize and relate to. I highly recommend Jennifer to bring that extra touch of elegance to any event.
Wonderful! There were tears
Jennifer, and her fellow violinist Chloe, helped make our wedding so amazing and special, they really blew us away. We gave Jennifer a challenging list of our favourite music we hoped to hear and she was able to nail all of the songs. Every one of our guests loved their performance, and my husband and I were so happy with what they achieved for us. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with, and helped ease our stress while we were attempting to organize our wedding through the pandemic. We would definitely recommend Jennifer in future!
Jennifer was the most beautiful Cellist, we are so happy we had her play in our wedding ceremony! She was extremely professional and played with the passion tailored for the occasion. Cello being our favorite instrument and us being in the arts our selves it was an amazing experience!

Canadian cellist Jennifer Moersch is a sought-after soloist, chamber and orchestral musician based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has performed across North America and in the U.K.
Jennifer has performed with many ensembles which include Allegra Chamber Orchestra, Lions Gate Sinfonia, Okanagan Symphony, Kamloops Symphony, Vancouver Island Symphony, Orchestra London, Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, Talisker Players, amongst others. As well she was Principal and Soloist with the Prince George Symphony. Jennifer has also traveled around Central America and Asia with the Delphinus String Quartet.
Jennifer has had the pleasure of coaching by Tsyoshi Tsutsumi, Rostislav Dubinsky, Desmond Hoebig, Paul Katz, Stephen Geber, Leonard Greenberg, Gwen Thompson, Gerald Stanick, David Harding, Aldo Parisot, Lafayette String Quartet, Penderecki String Quartet, Miami String Quartet and Quartetto Latino-Americano.
A fan of many musical styles Jennifer has combined her classical background in collaborations with artists of many genres. Some of these artists include members of The Guess Who, Platinum Blonde, The Tenors, Trans Siberian Orchestra and Down With Webster. Musical theatre credits include work with Drayton Entertainment, Angelwalk Theatre, Sheridan Theatre, Toronto Fringe Festival and 6 months of performing in the Arts Club Theatre's award winning production of Onegin throughout Western Canada. In addition she has performed in the Buddhist Opera The Ghata and in the new age film opera Nowhere, Here Now.
Jennifer is the cello teacher for the Colourstrings Conservatory in Vancouver and maintains a private studio in her home in North Vancouver. She and her cello can be seen in Tim Burton’s film Big Eyes, TV’s Arrow, Cedar Cove and multiple Hallmark movie productions.
For most performances all I/we require is one armless chair per performer and adequate lighting (enough to be able to read a book an arm's length away). For outdoor performances proper shelter from the elements is required to protect all musicians, their instruments and equipment (ipads etc). Prolongued direct sunlight and any precipitation in particular are very damaging to our instruments. Therefore we require protection from these elements. The outdoor temperature must be a minimum of 15 degrees celsius in order to protect our instruments and for us to be able to play. Frozen fingers do not make beautiful music.
For weddings and small events I perform acoustically. Should your event be in a large space for a large audience you may wish amplification. I do not provide the amplification so that is something you will be responsible for. I'm happy to discuss this and any questions you may have.
