The Painted Ladies is NYC's Premier dance troupe and event entertainment. The company is led by artistic director, Jenny Rocha. All performers are professionally trained dancers. The group recently won BEST LARGE GROUP and MOST INNOVATIVE at The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. They perform for corporate events, private parties, nightlife and theater productions. Rocha can provide existing specialty acts or create new acts for your event or project. Costumes and show/act concepts can also be tailored to your event. Additional services include: music production, makeup services, event entertainment management, aerialists, jugglers, actors, singers and more.

Bio:

Jenny Rocha is a versatile choreographer, creative director, producer, costume designer, teaching artist and performer. Currently, she is the artistic director of Rocha Dance Theater and her cabaret group, The Painted Ladies, who recently won for both the Best Large Group and Most Innovative at The Burlesque Hall of Fame. Jenny also choreographs and produces for various public and private events, productions, entertainment companies, nightlife, colleges and films. Some credits include: The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Shien Lee Artists, Galapagos Art Space, Elan Artists, The Box, MANA Contemporary, America’s Got Talent, Spring Street Social Society, Danspace Project, La Mama, The Boston Center for the Arts, Roger Williams University and many more. Rocha’s work has been critically acclaimed in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Village Voice, The Providence Journal and more.

Sound systems must be supplied by venue or rented by client. Hiring Us to supply the sound is an additional fee. If the client would like stage lights, they must provide this. The stage or performance area should be at least size 12 ft deep and 15 ft wide. Dressing areas/bathroom must also be provided..
