Woodwind player with experience in a variety of ensembles offering services for all saxophones in concert band, small combo and big band settings with an ability to double on flute and clarinet as well. I can also offer services on reed books for musicals as well as clarinet and bass clarinet for orchestra.
I hired Jeremy for my wedding cocktail hour. Communication between us was great prior to the event. He is a very friendly person and was more than willing to work with what kind of music I wanted. He was early for set up & guests said they really enjoyed his music. He introduced himself to me during the reception and his attire was perfect for our wedding. I highly recommend!
Response from Jeremy Gorin:
Thank you very much Melissa, I had a great time and I am so glad you enjoyed everything!

Hello,
My name is Jeremy Gorin. I am thirty-one and have performed and taught in New Jersey and New York for the past ten years. I attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH where I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Music Education in 2008. At Case I studied clarinet under Daniel Gilbert, formerly of the Cleveland Orchestra and current professor of clarinet at the University of Michigan, as well as saxophone under Grammy-winner, Greg Banazak. While in school, I performed regularly on saxophone, clarinet, and bass clarinet as a member of the University Circle Wind Ensemble, University Circle Orchestra, Case Symphonic Winds, Jazz I ensemble, as well as with various chamber groups, combos and pit orchestras, serving as the bandleader for the fall 2006 production of Case's musical theater troupe, Footlighters.
Since graduating, I have taught 4th-6th grade instrumental music full-time in two public schools in Kearny, NJ. In addition to my responsibilities as the instrumental instructor, I also serve as the director and co-founder of one school's musical theater program. I spent five years performing on tenor saxophone as a member of the original funk-rock septet, Blue Food. The group consisted of a three-part horn section that included tenor, trumpet and trombone, along with a rhythm section and vocalist. We performed at various venues throughout New York and New Jersey including Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene's Grocery, Sullivan Hall, The Bitter End, Maxwells and The Stone Pony. The group released our original full-length album, Engines, in 2012. I currently perform with the Hudson County faculty's Big Band, as well as with various other local small groups.
