Jeremy was just amazing! We will definitely use him again.
Jeremy was the perfect choice for our intimate holiday wedding… and he delivered! Handsome and charming, he was instrumental in guiding our guests from the “pop up” ceremony into our seated dinner with background music as well as some raucous toasts. Jeremy was very helpful and professional in all communications before and during the event and gave us classic Christmas songs as well as many other requests. He definitely understood the vibe we were going for and was a major contributor to the success of our evening!
Jeremy did a fantastic job for us. I would highly reccomend him. Everyone at the event commented on how good he was. Looking forward to having him perform again for us.
Response from Jeremy McBee:
Thanks so much, Doyle, for the very kind review. I really appreciate it! I’m so glad that the music went over so well. I really enjoyed performing for this event for your mom’s birthday and look forward to working more events with you in the future. Have a great Thanksgiving!
We had Jeremy at our wedding and it really elevated the whole ceremony! Highly recommend !!!

Jeremy was a crucial part of how I wanted my surprise proposal to go down at Doug Sahm Hill. He played Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs and played it just as good as Luke Combs himself. Definitely set the mood for the proposal and she knew right away soon into the song. Couldn’t be happier and will point anyone in need of a musician Jeremy’s way! Thanks man!
Response from Jeremy McBee:
Thanks so much, Chad! I was honored to be a part of such a special moment for you both. I’m so glad to hear that you were happy with my performance for your proposal. It’s a beautiful song and glad I did it justice! Best wishes to you both!!

In a typical performance, I will perform a variety of music. A handful of jazz standards, several classic rock hits, a handful of country tunes, songs from the 60's (Chuck Berry, etc.), modern pop/rock hits (Coldplay, Black Keys, Bruno Mars, Chris Stapleton, etc.), as well as some of my originals. I typicall perform 2-3 hour sets, but can cut it down to one hour or stretch it all the way out to 6 hours, if necessary. For weddings or private events, I can also provide DJ services if needed during certain parts of the event. I rarely take breaks during 2-3 hour sets, but if the performance time is more then 3.5 hours, I will at least take one break and play recorded music through my PA system, if requested.
I can provide all of my own sound and musical equipment, if that isn't already provided. I consider myself a strong communicator and make it a priority to be clear and prompt in my communication with clients. I also take each show's setlist seriously and will choose the order and song choices based on the event and the expected audience at the event. That being said, I can also be flexible during an event and take requests (generally speaking).
After living in Nashville, TN, for 14 years, Jeremy McBee has enjoyed the benefits of being surrounded by "the cream of the crop" in the music industry. Jeremy has been fortunate enough to record in studios such as the world renowned Dark Horse Recording Studio, Wayne Kirkpatrick's "Little Big Town Studio", as well as perform in unique venues in Los Angeles and Nashville before the age of 18. He has had the pleasure of meeting and knowing people such as Steven Curtis Chapman (Christian music artist), Wayne Kirkpatrick (world renowned songwriter), and Peter Mayer (Jimmy Buffett guitarist), among others in the Nashville music community.
Jeremy made his first strides toward becoming a professional musician by "cutting his teeth" at local restaurants and bars around the Bryan/College Station area. He graduated from Texas A&M in 2012 with a bachelors degree in Communications.
Jeremy draws from artists such as Leon Russell, Jamie Cullum, Ray Charles, Merle Haggard, Chris Martin, Fats Domino, Burt Bacharach, and countless others that all have a unique way of telling their stories about life, love, and pain. Through his cover songs and songwriting, Jeremy makes it his mission to mirror the passion, honesty, and lightheartedness that all of these artists possessed during their careers.
Jeremy moved to Austin after earning his college degree and quickly found a place that he can call "home" in the music world. Performing in venues and for events all over Texas and beyond, Jeremy has developed a reputation of professionalism, passion, and proficiency. With a bluesy pop sound, Jeremy keeps audiences entertained through his passion and raw connection to the music he's performing. Catch him at venues such as the Fairmont Hotel and the Driskill hotel in downtown Austin. Sign up on the mailing list on the homepage for regular updates on his schedule and new music releases!
You can find Jeremy McBee's original music on platforms such as iTunes, AmazonMP3, Pandora, and Spotify.
As far as electrical needs are concerned, I only require an electrical outlet within reasonable distance of where I will be performing. If this can't be provided, then I will need to know ahead of time how far away an electrical outlet is from my performance location so that I will know how long of an extension cord/s to provide at the event.
