Hi, I'm Jerry Hunt and I primarily play solo or group jazz for events, parties, weddings, any time! I know hundreds of tunes and can adjust to your event, mood and venue however you want. I have played around the world, primarily as a solo player but also in small combos.
I play in a sensitive Bill Evans influenced style as well as upbeat stride and blues styles. Please check out my video samples in my promo kit.

I was born in Nashville and started playing piano when I was 14. I never had formal lessons, although my mother was a piano teacher and I picked up a lot from hearing her 88 students a week banging out "Fur Elise" below my bedroom.
After college, I played solo piano in restaurants and bars in Nashville and then in NYC, New Orleans and Savannah. At times, I had a trio but mainly played solo. I'm looking forward to putting a group together again.
My main influences are probably Bill Evans, Monk and Kenny Barron.
The picture is of my son, Campbell. After he was born, I stopped playing out for awhile. It was a beautiful time but now I'm ready to get out in the world again...
