Jill Brandon has loved music for as long as she can remember. As quite the little songbird, she had her first experience performing at 5 years old, singing “Jesus Loves Me”, for a church congregation. From then on, she began to cultivate her passion for music and her love for people into the core of her life.

As the 2018 ETX Music Inspirational Artist of the Year, Jill debuted her self-written original with a live performance, announcing her efforts to create new music.

Growing up in many musically diverse environments, Jill’s infusion of music genres is evident in all she creates.

Through early challenges, Jill learned how quickly life and its circumstances can change. “There were few things in my life that were certain when I was younger. My faith and my music were the two main constants that got me through my darkest nights and were with me in my greatest of celebrations.”

She shares, “Music has been such a healing bridge for me, from my trials, to my triumphing over them.”

Life experiences have shaped Jill’s love and passion for music and her desire to share that music with others, as she knows herself how powerful music can be.
