The Jim Fox Trio plays a variety of jazz, popular, progressive jazz, latin jazz and blues music. The group consists of piano, bass and drums. The Jim Fox Trio is also available as a four piece with a vocalist. The band has performed in the Nashville area for over 10 years now at a variety of venues. Jerry and Jim Fox have worked together in bands for many years providing the group with a very tight sound.
This band really made our party swing! A terrific bunch of guys. Friendly, very talented and accommodating.
I first hired The Jim Fox Trio for a Halloween party and a few years later hired them again for our company Open House. I credit TJFT for the success of both of our parties as all our guests loved their musical selections and enjoyed dancing the night away. I would definitely recommend this trio for your next party!

Three piece jazz group. We play a wide variety of music from jazz, latin jazz, popular and contemporary jazz.
Jim Fox was born in Ukiah, California. Jim developed an interest in piano at age 10 and started studying piano shortly after that. Jim always had an interest in the Blues. While attending high school he played with several local bands. Jim also was interested in jazz along with rock and popular music. While in collage Jim played with jazz groups along with rock bands. After graduating from California State University Los Angeles with a BA degree in music/piano performance Jim played with several Los Angeles bands including the group WAR. After relocating back to Santa Rosa, Jim and his brother Jerry Fox played together in a popular San Francisco north bay rock band called Boys Night Out. Jim currently live is Nashville, TN where he performs with the Jim Fox Trio, does studio work and runs a piano school.
The Jim Fox Trio is and instrumental group that features Jerry Fox on drums, Roy Vogt on bass and Jim Fox on piano and keyboards. The group plays a variety of jazz, progressive jazz, latin, popular and blues music. The band has performed in the Nashville area for over 10 years now at a variety of venues. Depending on the venue we have piano, bass and drums. For a larger room we use stereo out for piano, three mics on the drums and one line out for the bass. We can fit easily on a average size stage.
