I hired Jim the Entertainer for my friend Debbie's 50th surprise birthday party in Nov 2016. This guy! Where do I even begin? For starters, Jim the Entertainer was willing and able to work with me on ridiculously short notice (still so sorry about that, Jim!) Even with short notice, he was exceedingly patient and spent a great deal of time working with me on every detail of what I wanted him to do for his show. He was an excellent listener, and quickly grasped my conceptual idea; AND he also suggested several great ideas and things I hadn't even thought of that were added in. He is an excellent listener and meticulously detailed, which is EXACTLY what you want from an entertainer you hire a show! Thanks to his experience, caring and attention to detail, we were able to nail down the particulars pretty well even with the short notice. As if that wasn't enough, he was also willing to change up his schedule so that he could accommodate the 2-hr drive to and from Milford, DE. You won't find a nicer, more detail-oriented, professional and accommodating entertainer than Jim!

With all of that, his show was of course a HUGE hit! Jim did a little bit of roasting my 50yo bestie, a little audience-appropriate comedy, a little improv, and a lot of what he does best: beautiful crooning! Jim even shared the mic with a couple people who wanted to say a few words about Deb on her 50th birthday. Jim's beautiful singing and his versatility were a big hit with the crowd and really helped make the party lively, fun and very special. I heard back from several people about how much they loved his show and his singing. But most importantly, Debbie loved it all so much! Jim went above and beyond to make my friend's 50th birthday so very, very special and memorable. We wanted a unique way to welcome our clients into their new office as well as wish them happy holidays. We decided that a singing telegram was an unforgettable way to do both as well as make an impression on some of the extended team. The time spent working with Jim and coordinating the details was much appreciated. He took the time to call and clarify questions and made sure we were on agreement before everything was finalized. As a result, the clients LOVED him and sent videos of the performance. Thank you!!

I can't say enough about the great evening Jim created! He carefully choreographed a fun 50th birthday evening for my sister and guests aged 4-77. Hire him if you want all your guests to be engaged and entertained!

Jim's talents made for a perfect birthday surprise for my wife and small children. He was flexible and easy to work with, as I booked a few days prior to the date. The pricing was accurate and fair, and Jim was very prompt. He came out to my house and surprised my wife and children, and everyone loved it. He is a great singer and entertainer, was wonderful with the children, and we even added a song on the fly since everything was going so well. My wife agreed that it was one of the the most memorable birthdays she had ever had, and loved every minute of it. Jim The Entertainer provided the best Mother's Day trio of songs to make my Mom a very happy gal. She is confined to a wheelchair in a Senior Living Center and music is the best part of her life these days. Jim had great song suggestions with a little personal touch added to each to make it special for Mom. He did a great job of adapting to the other people that were around in the living room with my Mom. It was the highlight of her day and it was all she could talk about for the rest of the day as grandchildren were calling in to say hi. Thanks Jim!

A friend of ours in Richmond was being given a surprise retirement party. We live near Philadelphia. We couldn't be there in person but wanted to be a part of her special evening. So we asked Jim if he could do a singing telegram. Well....Jim took "singing telegram" to a whole new level!!! He set us up on a a 3 way call so we could share in the event, like totally interactive. He put together a medley of favorite songs and his transitioning was flawless. He even helped us script the 'event'! What a fun and special way to celebrate with our friend. Thank you Jim! Jim provided a wonderful show for my mother's 90th birthday party. A very private event, Jim found a way to engage with most of the relatives and, in particular, Mom who laughed, cried and was encouraged to dance. While I was not present I hear that Jim found ways of bringing a huge degree of personal touch with stories and songs, and jokes and jibes. An overall excellent success!

I requested Jim to do a Singing Telegram for my mother's birthday. Jim coordinated with me over the phone and through gigsalad to get all the detail precise. He showed up on time, and performed all the songs I requested. In addition, he sang a song that he had never sung before and performed excellent. He also through in an extra song as well. What a great job Jim did for our mom's 88th birthday! She loved the songs he sang and how me made her feel special. She was impressed by his talent and sincerity. He was early and called ahead of time to confirm. She said that she would remember this for a very long time. So glad we found him!!
