Bluegrass Music from Nashville, Tennessee. 5-time WV State Banjo Champion Jim Gabehart & guitar player/lead vocalist Valerie Gabehart have played from Canada to Florida, playing a variety of music --- incorporating driving bluegrass, instrumentals, and original songs written by Jim. From fairs, festivals, concerts, weddings, and conventions, to every imaginable type of event, Jim & Valerie are experienced, professional, and anxious to discuss your event and how they can enhance it with their music. They can perform as a duo, trio, or with a full band accompanied by some of Nashville's best musicians, depending on the type of event, budget, space limitations, or other factors.

Fantastic experience! I booked Jim and Valerie for a business conference in Cincinnati, OH. I really wanted our attendees to experience a bit of Southern culture through Bluegrass music. Jim and Valerie did an incredible job, and everyone loved the experience. I would highly recommend them for any event. Very well done!

Jim and Valerie put on a great show for our celebration! Everyone really enjoyed their music and song selection. They were also very accommodating with requests. Our guests had so much fun! We were all singing along as the evening went on which made the party even more special. We would definitely recommend Jim and Valerie and will be calling them for future events.

Outstanding mix of new tunes of their own, which seemed already "vintage" in the way they were written and performed, with classic bluegrass tunes, including even lesser known beauties such as Flatt and Scruggs version of Home Sweet Home.
Highly recommend for sure.

In addition to the pioneers of bluegrass -- Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, The Osborne Brothers, The Country Gentlemen, J. D. Crowe & The New South, and later generation artists like Ricky Skaggs, Quicksilver, Lonesome River Band, music from other genres like Emmylou Harris, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, and The Eagles have been an influence.
