Jive Jump & Wail

Working with Peter and all the guys at Jive Jump & Wail was seamless and amazing. They were available last minute, rolled with the punches, were fair on price, were able to play all the songs we wanted. I would definitely recommend this band.

When my brother passed away, his request was for New Orleans style memorial and life celebration. I reached out to Peter with very short notice and he was great to work with. He lined up musicians for the memorial service and Life Celebration that followed. My brother wanted an upbeat celebration and that's what Jive Jump and Wail provided.

Cannot thank Jive Jump & Wail enough for playing at my husband’s surprise 30th birthday party. We had a New Orleans themed party. They were fantastic, great musicians and completed the atmosphere by playing New Orleans jazz/blues. Professional and entertaining, all of our guests loved them. Thank You for helping us have a great time :)

From the first point of contact with Peter, the band manager to the event itself, jump jive and wail more than exceeded my expectations! They were on time and can entertain a variety of age ranges. The enthusiasm and energy these guys had was unheard of. We had them play for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and it was more fun than my wedding!! I would and WILL hire these guys again! Thank you so much, Peter and his entire crew! You guys blew me away!!

My husband is in love with New Orleans and during the wedding planning process hinted a few times, or a bunch of times, about how he'd love a brass band to play for our reception. He didn't get the full reception, but we did have the pleasure of having Jive Jump & Wail play for our bridal party introductions, which the guests loved! Brandon had no idea and was SO excited when he heard them playing live. They were able to play the songs I requested and gave our wedding a unique personalized touch. They were easy to work with and snuck into the venue without my husband noticing! Win win!

Jive Jump and Wail played for our company Christmas party this year and they made the party a complete success! Great band, playing music that had everybody on the dance floor all night. This band is very versatile. They started off the night by playing some nice light background music while we had dinner and then pumped it up for a full night of partying. Really..Really enjoyed them. All of our guests commented on how outstanding they were and how much they enjoyed it. We will highly recommend them and we will use them again in the future.

I had the great good fortune to catch Jive Jump & Wail at Ortlieb's. This group of immensely talented musicians, combined with the charming and charismatic vocalist, Demetria Bailey, made for an evening of
toe-tapping, hand-clapping, foot-stomping wall-to-wall FUN!!!
Jive Jump & Wail live up to their name AND THEN SOME!!! BRAVO!!!
