Jocelyn is an amazingly talented musician who did a wonderful job playing at our wedding. We hired Jocelyn to play violin with background music as our guests arrived and then played as my wife walked down the aisle, it was absolutely magical. She then preformed during our cocktail hour. Jocelyn's performance during our cocktail hour was so unique. She played an electric violin to upbeat instrumental only pop songs! All of our guests were gathered around her listening and everyone commented throughout the following weeks that her performance was one of the coolest things they had seen at a wedding.

Jocelyn was an integral part of our ceremony and worship service for our wedding day. She was not only professional but kind to all the members of the orchestra. Taiwanese-American artist Jocelyn Hsu began her musical pursuit on classical piano and violin at ages five and nine. Her passion and skill for performing grew quickly, garnering invitations to prestigious summer music festivals such as Interlochen Summer Arts Camp, Brevard Music Festival, and Aspen Music Festival. Shortly after earning her Bachelor of Music degree from Florida State University, she went on two U.S. tours with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jon Anderson of YES, debuting in renowned venues like the Ryman Auditorium, Levon Helm Studios, and headlining the KAABOO Festival at the AT&T Cowboys Stadium. Since then, Jocelyn has performed with artists such as Anberlin, Disturbed, and Robby Steinhardt, diversifying her musical style to include progressive rock, alternative rock, and heavy metal.
Jocelyn’s characteristic sweet tone and musical precision draw from her classical training, complementing her seasoned improvisation inspired by jazz, folk, and country. She brings soaring melodies and charismatic energy onto every stage, and her masterful execution leaves lasting impressions after every performance.
A highly sought-after studio musician, Jocelyn was featured in the winning entry of 90.7 WMFE NPR’s 2020 Tiny Desk Contest with Matt Shenk Band’s single, “Lay Down Your Weapons.” She lent her talents for Robby Steinhardt's posthumous solo album Not in Kansas Anymore and also collaborated with John Paul Hayward for his album Generations: A Symphonic Tale, which pays homage to video game soundtracks from Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, and more. Her work can be heard on on "Augustine" from Benjamin Neil's album Live Forever and Jay Luis' debut album, "Resignation," released in December 2022. She is currently a studio musician and label artist at Solar Studios for Grammy-nominated producer Michael Franklin.
