I booked Joe for my parent's surprise 35th anniversary brunch. I booked him just days in advance. He always answered my questions promptly and thoroughly, showed up on time and nicely dressed, and is a nice guy that you feel comfortable having in your home. At one point my aunt was singing a song to my baby and Joe tried to match it on the guitar, I thought that was very sweet. He takes direction well and helped the surprise go off smoothly. He has a great voice and plays the guitar well, he has some original songs and is truly talented. In fact one of his original songs, "WOULD YOU BE MY VALENTINE" (we found it on YouTube), brought my 4 year old to tears because "it was so beautiful" and is now his favorite song. The only criticism I have is as far as the gig itself, he didn't know too many of my parent's favorites (though he did try and even let my mom sing a favorite of hers so that was great) and I felt the songs could've been a little more upbeat. My parents were very happy though and perhaps had I booked him further in advance those wouldn't have been an issue at all. So overall it went well! Thank you Joe for giving them a nice surprise.

What to Expect
I work with clients to pick repertoire that fits perfectly with their vision for the event. I have extensive repertoire and am able to learn new songs very quickly. I have also sung in different languages, including Galician, Gaelic and German.
About
I have been performing professionally since the age of 10, at countless weddings, parties, networking events, theater productions, concert halls and masquerade balls. My instruments include guitar, ukulele, mandolin, hammered dulcimer. I also sing and has an extensive repertoire of hundreds of songs. I have released 3 albums of original songs, 2 albums of Early Music with the Renaissance group Mince Pye, an album of Classical Guitar arrangements of Pop Tunes and an album of holiday music called "Christmas at the Renaissance Fair" under the name Moat Jumper. I studied Classical Guitar at Duquesne University and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music.

I have my own PA/amplification. I don't need much space, just a chair with no arms. My amp is battery powered so a wall plug is not necessary
