I believe that the service my group and I supply should be tailored to your needs; if you want to hear us do "our thing," you're welcome to come out and hear us play at a local venue; if you've hired us for your event (e.g. wedding reception), we want to play the songs you want to hear in the style you would like to hear them, so that we can help facilitate the experience that you wish to create. To that end, the musicians that I regularly hire (and myself) are professional and versatile, capable of learning new songs and playing in different styles. Whether it's Miles Davis, Elvis, Billy Joel, or John Legend, we've got you covered.

Joseph Tyksinski is a double-bassist, bass guitarist, composer, and songwriter based in Bloomington, IN. He is a regular performer at the famous Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis, the Blockhouse in Bloomington, and with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, Joseph’s music crosses and blends genres including contemporary jazz and classical, soul, and indie-rock; his music seeks to engage audiences through new sounds, memorable melodies, and good grooves.
