Saxophonist Joe Wilson is a professional New York-based musician who performs solo, in bands, with DJ's, and as a leader for weddings, special events, corporate functions, festivals, and private parties. He has toured internationally, and played/recorded with some of the finest acts around.
Typical service requests include:
-Acoustic saxophone for ceremonies and funeral service.

Saxophonist Joe Wilson is a professional New York-based musician who performs as a soloist, bandmate, DJ collaborator, and bandleader for weddings, special occasions, corporate functions, festivals, concerts, and private parties around the world.
An exciting and unique soloist, Joe has been seen and heard on the stages of Lincoln Center, The Brooklyn Bowl, The Jazz Standard, BAM Jazz and Blues Festival, Target’s First Saturday Event Series, and numerous other NYC venues, as well as received invitations to festivals in Orlando, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Sao Paulo. He’s gotten high praises for his playing from the bandmates of James Brown, Lauryn Hill, and Prince, and shared the stage in a supporting role for acts as big as Snoop Dogg, Sublime, The Legendary Wailers, and Grammy winners La Santa Cecilia.
In the studio, Joe has recorded saxophone lines for a production team working under Pink and J Cole, as well as recorded/written/arranged horns for three Ropeadope Records albums with world-touring Karikatura, and the 20 million YouTube view Viral Sensations from India, Maati Baani. He has worked for years with a number of event and entertainment companies in the tri-state area including Platinum Entertainment, A Perfect Blend, Posh Entertainment, CW Productions, and The Heart Bandits.
Joe is experienced and comfortable performing in virtually all musical and cultural situations, and within budgets and venues of all sizes and styles.
He also prides himself in taking communication, preparation, and attention to the specific details of every gig as seriously as the performance itself, if not more so.
