Joe was great to work with. He called a few weeks before the wedding to go over the songs we wanted for our first dance etc. Even though they weren't songs they played regularly Joe made sure they were ready in time for the wedding. Overall I was very pleased with the band and I would highly recommend them. Derek Smith

I cannot even begin to count the number of positive comments I heard throughout the evening about this band! They did a fantastic job all around and I would definitely recommend them. As a matter of fact, we are already thinking of an anniversary party for each year and this group of guys would be our FIRST choice. They rocked the party and we had a great time! Many thanks to Joe and the band.

We were very happy with Joe's performance - The music was excellent and Joe interacted with our group very well. I heard wonderful reviews from every person I talked to about his band and their performance. Joe was very easy to work with and to get in touch with - he made the whole experience great and several asked me how we found Joe so I gave them the gigsalad website. We would certainly use Joe again in the future

Who is Joe Worrel?
Joe was born into a musical family where his Mom and Dad made the rounds picking at backyard picnics, hog roasts and barn dances. Joe learned to play the bass and sing at age 7. At 15 he started touring with a group of talented siblings, Matt and Robyn Rolf and played from coast to coast as he cut his teeth on country music and living on the road. After this great experience, Joe then spread his wings joining the Air Force for his tour of duty. A decorated Veteran, Joe has been a backup singer and bass player for many great artists as well as an accomplished session player. Joe's debut CD, "Take me with you" had a top ten single on the Armed Forces Radio Network, Soldier of Uncle Sam. Soon after it's release Joe formed The Last Free Exit Band, a group of hard playing professional stage killers. He bought a tour bus and hit the road with a vengeance, touring over 250 dates a year for over 10 years. Joe’s live show, which is full of energy and variety, has been compared to the likes of great performers like Garth Brooks and Chris Ledoux. His singing style has hints of vocal heroes like, Ronnie Milsap, Delbert McClinton, Ronnie Dunn with a touch of the Hagg in there that gives him a great style but yet a distinct voice of his own.
Joe's CD “Drive” is available on iTunes and was recorded in Nashville with only the best studio musicians. Joe continues performing shows although he is semi retired from touring. He has been a headliner at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas during the National Finals Rodeo and he was also the featured artist at the Nightclub and Bar show in Las Vegas. Joe loves performing solo acoustic shows whenever he can.
