Joey Franklin is a Touch of Elvis

Such a great wedding and singing by Elvis - the best Elvis - Joey Franklin. Great time and fun for the whole party. Everyone loved his voice and the performance. Great Job and even better memories for us. Thank you.

The short version: stop your search now and go with Joey Franklin as Elvis. He's looks like Elvis, he sounds like Elvis, he's actually a great singer, his wardrobe is awesome, he's funny, and he's overall a friendly guy who will be very happy to work with you in planning his participation in your event.

If someone didn't plan an Elvis impersonator for me, I am pretty confident that I would have never even entertained the idea, and brushed it off as "cheesy." And that's precisely why I felt the need to spread the word about Joey Franklin as Elvis: I would have been completely wrong. If you're on the fence, if you're unsure as to whether or not an Elvis impersonator would be a good match for your party/event, if you're afraid that it might be awkward, or that the performance will fall flat, or that your audience won't be entertained, trust me, I know exactly how that feels when you're trying to plan for a party or event. I always worry about stuff like, "will it go on for too long," "what if it's not fun," etc., and with all of that in mind, I confidently recommend Joey Franklin as Elvis.

Our wedding dinner was just close family members and friends, about 10 people total, in a private room at a restaurant. So there I am, just enjoying my wedding dinner, when all of the sudden, Elvis comes bursting into the room, energetically picking up a microphone that I guess had been set up in advance (I didn't even notice it), and broke into song. He sang a few songs (he can *actually* sing!) and then introduced himself (as Elvis, of course), and put on a great show of song and comedy. He also took questions as Elvis, and was quick on his feet to come up with sharp and funny responses. He was also more than happy to take as many pictures as we wanted.

The first thing I thought when I realized what was going on was, "is this going to work with this few people?" Joey took the situation, the atmosphere, the environment, and absolutely owned it. There was never a dull or awkward moment and his performance as Elvis was neither too short nor too long, everything was just right.

And finally, this might seem a bit "deep" for an online review of an Elvis impersonator, but it occurred to me a few days later when we were looking back through the pictures that these are the very same pictures I'll eventually be showing my children and grandchildren someday. Forty or fifty years from now when we're re-telling the story of getting married, it's going to be Joey Franklin's Elvis in our family album, and you know what? I'm totally okay and satisfied with that. Don't risk your memories on mediocrity --- just get Joey. You won't regret it.

I've seen Joey perform on Fremont Street as well as at a Charity event here in Las Vegas. He is amazing to watch and listen to! He has mastered the movement of Elvis on stage even down to his mannerisms. His voice is powerful and rich with emotion. He sounds so much like the King it's quite remarkable. The best part for me is that he has the accent from the region since he grew up not far from Memphis. That and the fact that he seems to be a sweet, humble good ol' southern boy completes the experience for me. Being in his presence is truly memorable.

I've seen Joey a multitude of times throughout the years. He is always dressed amazingly. He looks great and Sounds just like Elvis!

He's always the sweetest person as well!
