John "Chickenman" Duggleby

My interactive rural revue, Boogie in the Barnyard, gives patrons something to crow about! Find out why I’ve twice been named Madison Area Music Assn. Children’s Entertainer of the Year. Dressed in a full chicken costume, I serve up a heaping helping of country pie from “Turkey in the Straw” to “There Ain’t Nobody Here But Us Chickens,” – accompanied by guitar, ukulele, banjo and other instruments. Also in the mix are my own compositions--and of course, the Chicken Dance! Audience participation is encouraged throughout. And since kids are often accompanied by adults, I’ve developed a show that grown-ups can enjoy as well—no “Wheels on the Bus”!
