It was an absolute pleasure to have John performing at our company Christmas party! We contracted him for two hours to play during our cocktail and dinner time. He is polite and courteous and arrived in plenty of time to set up and be ready at party start time. He played beautifully without any repeats! Great communication before and during the event. Everything went smoothly and was very enjouable! We would definately hire him again!

Out of the New Mexico high desert comes John Hibbard, lover of American acoustic music. Growing up surrounded by bluegrass and classic country, learning his vocal chops in the Baptist church, John moved to Lubbock to pursue a career in live music. He attends the commercial music program as a guitar major at South Plains College.
John brings a fun, friendly, but laid back live performance to the stage. Covering classics like Johnny Cash and Dwight Yoakam, he also includes some Red Dirt Texas country in his performance. Not limited to classic country, you’ll hear the sounds of John Prine, Tyler Childers, and even some Zac Brown in his work.
Overall, an evening of music with John is a great time and a great experience for all. I promise you’ll enjoy it.

It’s preferred that no tables are set up super close to the stage/performance area just so I’m not overpowering any one table with the speakers.
