Before the shoot:
My typical sessions begin with pre-planning and understanding my clients wants and needs. If it's something straightforward like headshots we arrange a day and time to shoot. For more complicated things I like to get to know the person I'll be photographing.

Shoot Day:
My photo sessions go for an hour to two depending on the set up and location. It's typically myself, my assistant, and my gear. I have a retainer of hair and make up artists I like to use or my client can bring their own.

Post:
I endeavor to turn around my clients photos as quickly as I can, optimally a week or so depending on how busy I am. The process for finished images ranges from client to client and will be negotiated beforehand.

I'm a photographer and cinematographer with over 15 years experience of capturing subjects of all types, but my favorite is portraiture photography ranging from headshots to the conceptual. I like to collaborate with my subjects and see if I can capture them in a way that is more than just a photo but the essence of who they are, what they mean within the larger context of life and their existence in that tiny moment we get to make art together. I hope to evoke a feeling in those who view my work.
