John, played for a celebration of my late wife's life, and on short notice, covered not only the entire playlist, but learned a song that she had specifically requested in a matter of days. He even did the vocals on that number, which came out beautifully. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He's a consummate professional, yet very accommodating and easy to work with.

John was a delight to have at our baby shower. The perfect music for our event. He was able to read the room and change up the music selection. He was accommodating, prompt to show up and was quick to set up. We will definitely use him again! It was our first experience using Saladgig. Great experience!
We hired John for. joint 65th birthday party. John was very professional an easy to communicate with. John provided acoustic guitar music for background to our party. Our guests had a great time and enjoyed the John’s musical performance.

We hired John as a guitarist for a real estate grand opening event in Leander, TX.
He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is he amazing at his craft, but the service he provided exceeded our expectations greatly. He also made sure to maintain excellent communication leading up to the event to ensure its success, and tailored his musical repertoire to fit the audience and ambience of the event itself.
Could not recommend him more strongly!!!

Response from John Wilson:
Thank you as well, it was fun and exciting, especially when you knew and liked a song. Hope to work with you again!
John is amazing. I hired John to coordinate an ensemble of musicians for a corporate event. The format changed on us at the last minute. We had double the number of musicians we expected and more than double the attendance we planned for. John didn't even get to meet the other musicians before the event, but he took it in stride! Despite the last-minute cure-ball, John was able to pivot and make the event a SMASHING success.
I wanted to surprise my wife with a guitar at our wedding, and John sure did deliver. He was so accommodating. All of our guests commented on how great of a job he did. If you are looking for a great guitarist, I would 100% recommend John.

My Husband and I were overjoyed having John and Marla provide the music for our wedding. His beautiful and skillful guitar and Marla's incredible voice created the perfect ambience and genteel sounds backed by the rushing waves. Marla sang Love Came for Me perfectly. The set up and take down of equipment was flawless and handled quietly and no stress for my wedding coordinator. This is the second time they have come and provided music for our events and we will continue to hire them as often as possible. They are kind and friendly and willing to be flexible to your needs and can change songs and formats showing flexibility and professionalism. His willingness to travel is a major plus-and has been early to both events, providing interim music while others continue setting up-lending a hand if needed, to get things just right. If you’re on the fence about hiring him, don't be. You wont find a better, more professional, more incredible talent than John and Marla. THANK YOU!!!

We hired John for a second time, and we also wanted a singer so he brought his business partner Marla to sing. John and Marla brought enchantment to our Mingle and Jingle Holiday Event, leaving everyone in awe with their stellar performance. From their early arrival and professional setup to their polished appearance, this dynamic duo radiated professionalism.
John's extensive musical knowledge paired with Marla's beautiful singing created a delightful atmosphere that appealed to diverse tastes. John's thoughtful pauses during announcements showcased his attention to detail and consideration for the event's seamless flow. Beyond being a skilled musician, John proved to be a dedicated professional attuned to the needs of the audience.
Throughout the evening, John's genuine engagement demonstrated his commitment to the success of our event. His ability to read the crowd and adapt the performance accordingly showcased his commendable professionalism, making him an ideal choice for any occasion.
In conclusion, John and Marla are a winning combination for any event. Their talent, professionalism, and genuine engagement make them a top choice. We eagerly anticipate having them back for future occasions! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We needed an instrumental guitarist for our 55 and over community event. John was communicative and showed up early to set up. He changed into nice clothes before our event started and set up quickly. His equipment set up was professional and clean and he asked questions. John has a very nice guitar, and he came prepared with notes for our event. Also he even recorded himself during the event which was cool and the acoustic sound was great! He chatted with our guest while still playing guitar. He played 50s and 60s instrumental music and he also played a recommended song and challenged himself! He was awesome and brought great vibes to the party, he was the perfect fit for our fall event! John got compliments from our guests and his skills on the guitar were smooth! Also he had a great knowledge of music and played a variety of songs! Thanks John for coming out and playing some great music for us! Thank you so much!!!
The music was great !! Fit with our ambience and the customers Loved it

Thank you, Corina. I fondly remember that day and was honored!
I've known John Wilson for a long time since early 2000 in Austin TX. John plays guitar, sings vocals and also plays bass guitar. I recorded him live at Mozart's, and Marla the lead singer adds another level of dynamics and tonal range.

I booked John for two back-to-back wine dinners. From our initial booking conversations, to set and breakdown...he was professional throughout. He needed little to no direction from me, as his attention was always on the floor. He made our evening magical, as he is very talented! I look forward to using him again and again. Thank you again John!
