JohnJohn_13 was born John Fuller on April 13, 1968. He attained the nickname JohnJohn in one of his first bands, TOYMAKER; since then, the name has become the one by which he is known. In 1991, Fuller first emerged on the Paducah music scene with his pal, James Weaver. The acoustic duo, JAMES and FULLER, enjoyed four years of prosperity including a house gig at The Port Of Call from 1991 to 1993. The Oak Tree, Moby Dickʼs, and Mardi Gras also hosted the duo; and from 1993 to 1995, they landed another regular house show at The Twinkling Star. One highlight of their union came when the two opened up for ʽ70s icons HEAD EAST at the Paducah Summer Festival. In 1995, the two parted ways; but Fuller kept the house gig at The Twinkling Star, which had changed the name to The Sports Page. JohnJohn recruited two former TOYMAKER players to create an acoustic trio called EDDIE HASKELL, which was the weekend house band at The Sports Page until 1997. The establishment again changed management and was renamed Branstonʼs Twinkling Star. This was the location of Fullerʼs first solo acoustic show; and with success, he remained playing there until their closing in 1999. Throughout all those years, Fuller also kept busy with various reincarnations of TOYMAKER. The new century brought a new band for Fuller; from 2000 to 2005, the local rock success of TWICE JOHNNY swept across the tri-county area. The five piece Johnny featured some of the areaʼs most talented with Fuller on the vocals, Jason Brown on bass, Jeff Pryor on drums, and Marty Orr and John Brodsky sharing the guitar duties. They played to numerous standing room only audiences and was My Brotherʼs Barʼs house band the remainder of their stints. The next few years, Fuller broadened his horizons. In 2005, he spent a year in Evansville, Indiana, fronting the band NOCTURNAL; then on to Portland, Oregon, where he did studio work and enjoyed the west coast. By June 2008, he was back home beginning his solo career and ready to hit the scene. He began doing acoustic sets at Konnextions on 32nd Street and Fat Moeʼs on Broadway. Shortly after, Fuller decided to expand his fan base and retained the management services of Ms. Sally Knauss. The next step was adding another acoustic show at B. Russellʼs on 32nd Street; then the studio naturally came next. Currently, JohnJohn is excited about his new four piece band, BANGO SKANK! Consisting of Twice Johnny pals John Brodsky and Jeff Pryor and new pal Tim Moores , this all-star veteran line up speaks rock as a second language!!; looks like everything is falling right into place for this rock star. The sky is the limit for this local favorite!
That's the professional shit.
Personally, I'm a pretty laid back dude with a great sense of humor who loves his friends and laughing at stupid shit. I refuse to grow up and that bugs the shit out of some people but I wouldn't have it any other way...I have a son and a stepson and daughter whom I ADORE and have helped raise and who've helped raise me since they were babies. I've been divorced for five years and my ex-wife is still one of my best friends..weird I know but that's just the way it is. I've made PLENTY of mistakes and learned all my lessons the hard way. I've loved and lost more than once and my heart is a little ragged around the edges but if I could go back in time I wouldn't change a thing because there is no gain without risks. I'd rather get hurt a hundred times than to miss out on any second of my life. It's all a part of who I am and I'm pretty fucking happy with that today....I LOVE girls with tattoos!.....If my friends jumped off a bridge, I would to....I'm trying to not curse so much and develop better posture....I love to party, but have had to knock it off due to health reasons...mine and others...I sometimes dream that I can breathe underwater.....I believe you should never criticize anyone until you've walked a mile in their shoes, that way when you do criticize them they'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes...that's all i got for now...I'll think of more later....
