So glad we found Johnny! He played for mine and my husband's wedding ceremony and it was everything I hoped for and more. He learned 3 songs for our night and my guest couldn’t stop talking about his rendition of, I Want to Hold Your Hand by The Beatles and the song from the little mermaid. He was very professional and even gave me a list of love songs he could play for the prelude. Our wedding ended up starting at least 20 min late but he has such an extensive list of songs, there wasn’t a slightest hiccup. He made it easy, which was everything while planning a wedding. No stress! If he’s available, book him!

About
Johnny Rockett is a guitar vocalist and loop station artists based in Charlotte, NC. He has 10 years experience as a performing musician and over 1,200 shows from Charlotte, NC to the high seas with Carnival Cruise Line. He can accommodate a broad range of song requests while providing a full band experience-solo.
He fills the room with refreashing reditions of classic songs. Rockett's dynamic guitar playing and vibrant tenor voice set him apart in the budding Charlotte music scene. He released his debut album “Devil On Both Shoulders” in the spring of 2019 to a receptive audience and 40,000 streams on Spotify. The following fall release called “Small Hands” was featured on Oceanside: The Take over playlist on Spotify. His most recent project: Wandering Heathen features signature tracks like Who's That Girl and Goosenumbps.
Raised in Monroe, Louisiana to a music family of eight; Rockett grew up on singer song-writers like Amos Lee, Ray LaMontagne and Jason Mraz. He has toured nationally with artist: Chris Jones And The Southern Outlaws as a lead guitarist and on the open seas with Carnival Cruise Line as a guitar vocalist. He passed 800 shows as a solo guitar vocalist in 8 markets worldwide.
Since moving to Charlotte, NC in 2020 Rockett shifted his live performance efforts toward featured original content on college campuses like University Of South Carolina and Columbia College. Rockett currently performs at Listening Rooms, House concerts and Songwriter Rounds with the Charlotte, NC based “Keep It Original” songwriter collective Rockett Co-founded in 2022.
