The music was perfect for the kinds of genres we told Johnny we were looking for (R&B, hip-hop, rap, Latin, pop, throwbacks) and everyone had a great time. His setup was also very nice and sleek / modern looking and the lights were a nice touch.

Played great music and kept the party going, would book again and highly recommend!

DJ Johnny was absolutely amazing! His mixing of Hispanic and English music was wonderful. We got so many people complimenting how smoothly the transitions were between songs and everyone danced at one point. We cannot recommend him enough! Thank you again for making our special night so fun!

DJ Johnny Seriuss was exactly what we wanted for our 20th Anniversary Party! He showed up early and was ready to go in plenty of time for our guests to arrive. He played a Spotify playlist we made for our cocktail hour and then transitioned into some dance music and mixed in karaoke as people requested it. We did a vow renewal which he played our requested song underneath and then played our wedding song and then got the party going again right after. Spent the rest of the night singing karaoke and dancing. Johnny's karaoke system made it very easy to sign up to sing and he had every single song we requested and some of them were pretty obscure. It was a fantastic night and DJ Johnny Seriuss was a huge part of that! He even worked with us to extend the party at the end of the night cause everyone was having so much fun. We were very lucky to discover him just by a google search. I'd highly recommend DJ Johnny Seriuss for any parties you got lined up and I'll definitely be using him again for our next big event!

The DJ that ended up showing up was not the DJ originally booked. It was a few minutes before start time and I find out who I have booked with is not actually showing up to the event. I was shocked and so disappointed I was not told in advance. I was initially ok not thrilled with the DJ I originally booked not being able to do my event. I was then set up with a 2nd DJ who was supposed to be a good fit for my musical taste then I was handed off to a third DJ. The DJ that showed up was a nice person but.... several times I was not happy with the music selection. The older guests enjoyed the music and it ended off nicely but I had too many other things to worry about on that day than to micro manage the music situation. Of course I couldn't remember his name because Moments before he showed up I was given his info!

On time, and had everyone dancing!

Johnny will definitely have you up and moving at your next event. It was a great turnout for my work event and everyone had a great time. However, the music didn't quite fit the occasion and there was little too much techno/club music.

We had such an amazing time at my daughter's bat-mitzvah party. The DJ was great with the song selection and taking requests. He knew how to get everybody moving on the dance floor. He was super reliable, helpful, and professional.

I would book him again in a a heartbeat.

Johnny was marvelous. He communicated consistently and effectively beforehand. He was also early for set up on the day of my daughter's brit mitzvah (the non-gendered term for bar/bat mitzvah) and managed to use to term "brit mitzvah" several times on the mic (which meant a lot to my daughter). Additionally, Johnny is eccellent at upping the dance party energy and bringing his enthusiasm to increase to the party vibe. Lastly,the kids and adults loved his photo booth

Dj Johnny was awesome all my family loved him he’s a great Dj he made the night come alive thank you so much we are so grateful.

Johnny, Mason, and Pauly did such an AMAZING job with all around entertainment! They showed such professionalism, patience, and kindness for our wedding. I really mention patience, because due to family arriving late, we needed to adjust on the fly and they were right by us through the process. Johnny hit every note with music and once we were dancing, everyone literally forgot dessert. Mason emceed perfectly, was so attentive, listened, guided, and really brought us together. Pauly managing the photo booth made it so light and fun. Although he was stationed in a separate room, he was always there once guests popped up for photos with a smile.

They killed it! If you're getting married, having a private party, whatever - you want Johnny and team there. Thanks guys!

Johnny takes his gigs super seriously indeed and delivered amazing fun for all ages! He surprised our kids group (ages 4-12) with super cool and fun kids games, and everyone loved the music and the party! He was on time and had very cool equipment!

Dj Johnny was the very best DJ I found. He made the 30th birthday a time to remember EVEN during quarantine. He even went as far as opening his availability to stay extra hours. He’s a well versed DJ and knows what he’s doing. Don’t hesitate and hire him ASAP!

My twin boys turned 9 during COVID. We hired Johnny to perform at our zoom party and he was amazing! He spent time in advance making sure all the audio & visual worked well on the platform. He made my boys feel special and kept the crowd on their feet, happy and dancing all from the safety of our homes! Deepest gratitude for making this happen!!

Great service, amazing quality and he shared the framed pictures as well as the original ones, which for me is a big plus.
Two lessons that I learned, Not the DJ fault... :
1 - to ask for new year eve props when booking the next NYE party
2 - to give a 30 minute advance notice to attendees that photo booth will be ending...

Johnny is amazing! He is able to accommodate any request you might have. He will spend the time to explain to you and give you suggestions and alternatives. He was on time which is very important for any event. He was very engaging with my guests and making them feel welcomed to me wedding. I was very surprised when he followed up with me a week after the event to see if the photos was working. I felt that he really cared because most vendors they will just take your money and you never see or hear them again. It was different from Johnny, he followed up and wished us a great holiday. I would definitely hire him for any of my future events!

Johnny was the DJ for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. We wanted something different. Mind you, the party was not just for the kids enjoyment but us parents. We wanted to ensure we entertained the children and the adults alike. Johnny entertained both groups in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, which I know can be hard to do. He played songs for both the children and adults, while always ensuring the kids were engaged and had something to do. He engaged the children in numerous games and even provided his own prizes for the kids. They were nice, quality prizes as well. I would recommend him for any type of party. Absolutely. 100%.

Johnny arrived earlier than the expected time, and was very helpful and patient. He let us use the machine a little longer considering guests were late. I would definitely recommend and hire Johnny again. Thank you!

DJ Johnny Seriuss created an amazing feel for our brand's fashion show. He provided great music and even helped us out with lighting. He was a pleasure to work with and I'd definitely book him again.

So I communicated with DJ Johnny Seriuss. He was friendly and easy to work with. However the day of the event he did not show up. He had a DJ Jarano with an assistant show up. I was taken aback that I was not told ahead of time about this arrangement or plan and really disappointed. DJ Jarano was friendly and played the majority of the songs I requested and so much more. I did enjoy him as he was professional and he had an outgoing personality but if you are paying for something you are requesting that thing not a substitute. For that I had to reduce my stars rating.

Johnny did my sons 10th birthday party. A lot of kids running around. A lot of requests. He did such a gray job. He arrived on time. His set up was quick and without fuss. From the moment the music started to the very last song all the kids were dancing and having an great time. Even at the end when he was wrapping up I didn't even realize he was leaving. It was seamless. I would use him for any event for kids and adults. I will definitely be booking him in the future. .

Johnny was fantastic. Great selection of songs and mixes for my daughter's Sweet 16 party. He was super at reading the mood of the room and making the night fun. Sound quality and light set up were great, too. Looking forward to having Johnny play our next party!!

Johnny was taken ill on the day of our event, but very responsibly, he provided a replacement. The substitute showed up early, was sweet and effacing. He was skilled and provided an excellent mix of music and also was responsive to the requests of guests. We would welcome him at a future event!

We hired Johnny for a client's party that I had no idea what to expect. The party format was new, a community outreach Christmas party for neighborhood children, and the guests were unpredictable (0-150 children, age ranges 0-17!) Client changed her mind at last minute and wanted a DJ that spoke Spanish (thank goodness for Gigsalad!) Johnny's partner did an amazing job improvising with the crowd and my client, from changing the schedule as the party progressed, to creating games to keep the children engaged. The client was happy and the children had a blast!

I met and hired Johnny through gig salad, for our corporate holiday party in December.

We sat down, talked about our party in details and what we needed for the party. We told him we needed a good DJ to provide good musical entertainment for the party. He provided just that.

Our company always hires different DJ's every year, so every year we have a different type of year. But this year I wont forget about Johnny, he was no regular DJ. He did more than expected. He makes sure everybody gets involved and has a good time. He played music that entertained all of our employees. He even brought many of our seniors execs that never gets involved dancing again, he made them feel if they were in studio 54 again. Brought a lot of memories to all our employees, many of us danced and had a lot of fun.

I was shocked and amazed overall a great party and the entertainment, that Johnny brought brought to the party. Overall what he provided to us was great Christmas/Holiday party for all of our employees.

He was unique he was playing a wide range of music that I haven't heard since I was small. He played a mix of salsa with indian and reggae that I was wow!. Me and my wife Hired DJ Johnnyseriuss for a weeding reception we had in August. The event was in wedding banquet hall in long Island. We met before in person for the event he walked us through the venue explained our options and explained what to expect. Boy he delivered everything he promised.

All my family and my parents had a ball, they were dancing if there were young again. The people had a great time, johnny was professional looked good. Did what he was supposed to do entertain us the whole night and be our disc jockey!

I hired Johnny for my young sisters 21st birthday and I was a little bit worried if I booked the right DJ because I was looking for a Club DJ not your typical wedding dj at the same time cater for my sisters 21st bday. I booked him based on a friends recommendation.Later I realized I booked the right DJ! Everything was catered for the event. The Music choice, the lights, the sound everything was met for my sisters birthday. Johnny talked to us ahead of time to make sure is right, he made us feel like we are valued and that we are the center of attention.
Everybody was dancing the whole time, he was playing everybody's requests while maintaining a groove, he was on the microphone making it fun! He was very good DJ mixing and playing my sisters songs.

Overall a Fun time more than I would had in any type of club :)
