I have enough music for 2-4 hours of playing time. I will arrive early and provide everything needed except power. For most performances I require a PA system which I provide. If it is a small venue I can play without one or use a smaller speaker system. I require a small deposit and the remainder when I arrive on site. If you would like to meet with me ahead of time and look at music choices I would be glad to do that as well. I usually wear island type of apparel but I can be sensitive to different situations.

I am a beach guy by birth. I grew up in the Southport are and now reside in Wilmington. Even though I have been playing music my whole life, I had always harbored a fascination for steel drums, or pans, as we call them. One day I got fed up with wishing and wondering what it would be like to play pans - and I ordered my first set. I decided to learn to play doubles - I figured if I was going to learn I should go big! After a lot of hard work I taught myself how to play and now I want to share it with you!

I have my own sound system and tracks and I play a variety of music which represents me. Everything from traditional Island music to pop/rock tunes to hymns. I can play at various venues from the beach to a church. I have a repertoire of 75 songs or more from fast upbeat SOCA to slow romance songs that are guaranteed to make you find a dance partner. I have a full PA system with an extra mic so if you need to use it for public address at your function you can help yourself. Some people even like to sing along - that gets really interesting! I also have a full array of percussion instruments to get your crowd actively involved in the music - tambourines, cow bells, guiras, shakers and marimbas!
