My solo performance is designed to accomodate any type of situation, from drinking parties, birthday parties of all ages, weddings, restaurants, lobbies, airports, etc. So depending on what you are planning, you may here my jazz instrumental standards, classical pieces transcribed for guitar, and some of my soothing original tunes. For a more upbeat party, I bring the energy with a phrase sampler (allows me to loop what I play live and then play over it) and tunes ranging from classic rock, funk, 80s, 90s, Motown and anything you want... and I mean it.

I am a very nice person who gets along with just about anyone. I taught for 5 years and now tutor, so I'm a great people person and performer. So with that you can expect a greatly accommodating and flexible, laid back yet professional, very easy going heck of a musician and soon to be friend :) This comes out on the stage, and when the performer is having fun, so is everybody. If you know the song, come and sing it! Play as well

Comfortably solo, Jon Christie covers genres including classical, jazz, Latiin, Rock, Pop, and includes some of his some originals in the set as well. Bringing 15-years of experience to the stage, the crowd walks away itching for the next show.

Christie's setlist covers a such a wide range he can set the scene for formal events, quiet restaurants, hotel lobbys, private parties, weddings, and really anything. Come on out and enjoy :)

If you have a PA, thats great. If not, I'll happily bring mine. The only thing I'll have to require are wall outlets within 50 feet. If you don't have that, let me know so I can bring extension cords.
