I've lived in Las Vegas for 50 years. So many true stories, so much stranger than fiction.
I'm Chairman of the Liberace Foundation, created by Liberace himself in 1976, to which he left his estate.
I'm the honorary Consul of the Principality of Monaco. My predecessor, often a topic of my talks, the first Consul of Monaco in Las Vegas, was an enigmatic heir who owned and developed the Las Vegas Strip. I've spent 7 years uncovering his amazing life on four continents.
I run Thriller Villa, the final residence of Michael Jackson and the most fabled home in Las Vegas. It is another fascinating topic.
Speaker fees are donated to the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts.
Jonathan Warren ranks among the very best speakers I’ve ever encountered. I had the honor to listen several of Jonathan’ speeches on the lesser known history of Las Vegas, his predecessor Honorary Consul Henry Leigh Hunt and the Huntridge Neighborhood, on his passion for Monaco and for the long-standing connection between Liberace’s home of Las Vegas and the City of Paris. On May 18, 2017, Jonathan Warren crafted a special opening presentation for the Museum of Modern Art in the city of Paris on the occasion of the exhibition “Medusa: jewels and taboos.” This plenary speech was superb. In just one hour, attendees gain a fresh perspective on Liberace’s life and legacy, his enthralling experience with Paris and he spoke about the French influence in Las Vegas with the honorable presence of the amazing superstar Line Renaud. His presentations were packed with illuminating anecdotes, telling details, surprising stories and a refreshing dose of good humor. He is also personally delightful, entertaining and educational. He is as comfortable with himself as he is engaging, warm and funny. His cheerful disposition and positive outlook on life is thoroughly infectious. In sum, it is my pleasure to give Jonathan Warren my highest endorsement.
Jonathan's passion is bolstered by a vast and expansive knowledge, artistically expressed with an air of humble grace and class. He is a great storyteller, relaying fascinating stories that ignite the senses and provoke insight and wonder in his listeners. He commands the room and captivates his audiences. If you have an opportunity to experience a presentation by Jonathan, you will be delighted you did.
Having heard Jonathan Warren speak on Liberace’s life and grandeur from Liberace’s humble beginnings, escapades in personal life turned Mr. Showmanship, costumes, jewelry, Paris, commonly unknown humanitarian acts, Liberace and the Mob. SO much I never knew about my OWN family! Mr. Warren never ceases to delight. He is, himself, ‘a book of artifacts’!
Jonathan is entertaining, educational, considerate to his listeners with humor and gracious to those whose audience he keep; a skilled speaker who captures your attention with just the perfect amount of content that he leaves us craving more More MORE!
Consul Jonathan Warren is a thought provoking speaker that handles both light, topical, and in depth topics with precision, humor and analysis that engages the audience. I have had the pleasure of seeing Consul Warren speak at several events including Cocktails with the Consuls, Liberace Event Fundraiser and Consular Chamber of Commerce over several years. He mesmerizes the crowds with fascinating stories and anecdotes that keep people interested, and asking for more.
Jonathan Warren is a consummate writer with the ability to take his reader far into the depths of imagination. After reading his submissions, I was allowed to forget the outer world and truly immerse myself into his writings.
I was very fortunate to be present several times when Consul Jonathan Warren was scheduled to speak. Each time, It was the most fun, informative and enlightening experience one could have, in all things related to old Las Vegas , as someone whose roots run deep within this community as his are.
I am also very grateful to have received Mr. Warren's support several times, when I have approached him to help me promote my opera events, specially a very memorable one on February 11, 2011, where I produced a special concert for Valentine's day. Thanks to him, not only did we sell out but the help we got in dressing up the stage made it a very special evening indeed!
I have had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Warren speak on numerous occasions regarding the lesser known history of Las Vegas and more specifically, the historic Huntridge Neighborhood and surrounding district. I've also invited him to speak at more recent engagements, such as the monthly speaker series hosted by Emerge Nevada. At our recent meeting, he spoke about the Consular Corps. program and the benefit of working with Honorary Consuls for local politicians in our community.
Not only is Mr. Warren well-informed on such topics, but he offers exciting stories and accounts by longtime Las Vegans and area founders who bring a sense of character and place to old Las Vegas. Mr. Warren is charismatic, poised and informative and leaves every audience he speaks to wanting more.
It has been a distinct honor to again have had the opportunity to listen to Consul Warren speak. His witty charm, sense of humor, immense grasp of knowledge and disarming way are only a few of the many attributes that I can offer. I have also had the opportunity to hear Consul Warren speak on many occasions over the past 10 years in my role as Consul of Poland, he is one of the few people that people listen too and actually 'hear', when he has spoken on multiple subjects. My highest endorsement....!
Jonathan Warren has what very few can define - "class". In a world of cargo shorts and Bierkenstocks, Jonathan, stands apart. Finely attired in satorial splendor, Jonathan, delights all around him regaling in his stories of Michael Jackson, Liberace, Monaco and his love for all the finer things life has to offer. Jonathan Warren makes friends and has friends wherever he goes. A welcome addition as a speaker to any group. Jonathan Warren is a man for all ages. Cheers!

I've lived in Las Vegas for 50 years. I grew up here, the son of historians and archaeologists.
I have a background in business and finance, but retired from it all years ago and traveled the world. I've been to thirty countries and counting, and enjoy a great many friends on six continents.
In 2014 I became Chairman of the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative arts, the estate left by Liberace himself. At that point is was about to fade from existence. My team and I stabilized it, eliminated debt and overhead, procured donated museum space, began licensing his iconic name and image and are now seeing his renaissance. I handle his image and brand licensing, as well as develop talks and exhibits about his fascinating life and influence on pop culture, show business and Las Vegas. All of my speaking fees are donated to this 501(c)3 non-profit institution which has granted over $6 million in scholarships in the performing and creative arts.
I was appointed Honorary Consul of the Principality of Monaco in 2010, covering Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming. I discovered that my predecessor in my consular post, who was appointed in 1955, was the mysterious owner of the entire center Strip and developer of the first resorts there.
I traveled the world chasing down his story, the subject of an upcoming book on his incredible life of intrigue, adventure, and unexpected connections to historic figures spanning the globe and generations. My research uncovered remembrances he secretly built into developments during World War II, still evident in Las Vegas.
Growing up in Las Vegas I witnessed history in the making, and preservation in its infancy. My parents are the historians and archaeologists who excavated and saved the Old Las Vegas Fort, Big Springs (later Springs Preserve), Wetlands Park, Spring Mountain Ranch State Park and more. They were instrumental in the development of UNLV, the Neon Museum, the State Museum and other local institutions. As a child I spent a great deal of time on archaeological digs in the American west.
I've spoken in a great variety of situations. I project well, I adapt and am flexible.
I can deliver all talks with or without slides, except for Liberace Brand Deck 2018. All are formatted in common file types and on pen drives. My laptop can be utilized or other readers.
Standard formats from pen drives - I'm very flexible.
