What to Expect
Joe arrives with his equipment and a willing attitude to serve the client.
His set up is simple with an amp & speaker plus mic stand. He needs a nearby electrical outlet.
His volume can be set soft and background or louder and commanding depending on the needs of the venue.
When Joe starts to play his talent on guitar and his singing ability turn heads. People stop to listen. He's playing their favorites from way back so they want to hear more.
Joe's wife Nancy is normally with him handing out songsheets, collecting song requests and mingling with the crowd.
About
As the 10th of 14 children, Joseph comes from a very large musical family. “Go get the guitars!” his Dad would say, then they’d play and sing for hours. This was just the beginning. His resume includes a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Theory, studio and orchestral guitar work, he played in bars and restaurants all over Chicagoland then along with his brother Vince he got to play warm up act for the late Harry Chapin.
Joseph loves singing, playing guitar, writing instrumentals and all kinds of songs.
Playing oldies in restaurants or around campfires with friends, crowds love to hear him play, there’s always the pull for one more song. He sings in the very pleasant style of James Taylor, Jim Croce, or Cat Stevens bringing comfort and enjoyment to those who hear it.

I need a flat dry surface that is visible to the audience with a nearby electrical outlet.
Direct sunlight is not preferred. I can bring a canopy if needed for outdoor events.
