Joseph Donnantuoni

Joseph will show up on time. He tries to find out what kind of room or place is being set up for him to perform and if he has time he may come to see it first to prepare.

Joseph learned voice from his parents initially. They were both opera singers in New York though Giovanni Martinelli who taught Joseph's mother at one point told Joseph's Dad to stay home and take care of the kids. He studied music with private teachers and at age 29, he was hired to sing in the role of Nanki-Poo in the Mikado with the Richmond Theatre collection on Staten Island. Though he graduated at Stony Brook University in Economics, and that school had a music dept, Joseph was chosen to sing for the Awards night for the Language departments. While working at EF Hutton in New York city co-workers would often hire Joseph to bring a card and a short song to young woman with whom dates were sought in return for his lunch being paid for. Joseph while working for NASD (now FINRA) as an examiner of broker dealers was chosen by the District Director in NYC to sing at the Tanga room at the Fairmont Hotel for the Christmas party. Through the years Joseph has performed at City Hall, fundraisers, and private events including corporate conventions.

Prefer Monitor and live mic, however if accoustics are stereo (rectangular room, not low or drop ceilings, and live walls with carpet) none may be needed. Needs outlets for equipment if used/ we bring.
