Overview
I am a young musician working toward making music my main career path. I have been blessed enough that God has helped me learn how to play guitar, piano, and the drums. I am both a performer and songwriter, so I have large amount of original songs I like to sing. But, I also love to cover songs, anything from Ed Sheeran to Garth Brooks. I love to try new things and learn new songs, so for all clients with specific requests, I would be glad to work with you to give you the experience and performance that best suits you. We hired Josh for our small destination wedding in the mountains. He was super responsive leading up to the day and had a great list of songs that he already knew, but was more than willing to learn new songs for our first dance. Come the day of the wedding, he was there early to ensure what our plans were and to make sure everything was set up. We had a very casual reception and Josh just went with it. Our guests absolutely loved having him play and were sad when it was time for him to pack up. Overall he was extremely easy and wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for love entertainment for their event.

I stumbled upon Josh's Life With You EP while looking for wedding music and I knew I wanted to ask him to play during the wedding. I wasn't even planning on having live music but I'm glad I decided to! Josh and Hayley played music before, during, and after my wedding ceremony and they perfectly complemented each portion of the day! The music was beautiful and they willingly learned a song for me near the last minute. I was indecisive but they learned fast and did a fantastic job. There was an awkward moment at the end of the ceremony because of miscommunication with our pastor and Josh and Hayley handled it with grace and played right through it to make it. Josh played alone at the reception and it was just as beautiful. We had a very low key reception and he played sweet love songs that perfectly fit the tone of the evening. I know he also knows many songs that would have been great to dance to if we had chosen to do that.

I booked Josh for my husband's last minute, surprise birthday party. The booking process was straightforward and simple. Josh was very easy to communicate with, answering all my questions with timely replies. He set up early for the party with his top of the line equipment including a fabulous guitar. As soon as he started playing and singing all of our guests fell in love with him! The variety of music on his playlist ensured that everyone had a favorite tune to enjoy. Josh asked me before the party what my husband's favorite songs were. I sent him several requests and Josh played them all - some of which he had to learn that week. Josh was so helpful with keeping the party on track with helping me make announcements and requests. My husband was thrilled with the party and we can't wait to book Josh for our next event!

We booked Josh to play before and after our wedding ceremony on May 14 at an outdoor, rustic venue. Josh's music was perfect for our setting and event. He played during the cocktail hour leading up to the wedding and for a couple of hours after the ceremony. He also learned a song specifically requested to play for our first dance, which was very cool, especially since he only had a couple of weeks notice on that request. Overall, our day was wonderful and Josh's performance really contributed it. Highly recommended!!

What to Expect
Typically it's just me and an acoustic guitar. There is always a possibility that I could bring on an opener for variety's sake. My equipment and set-up do not require a large amount of space. I can be flexible, depending on the venue. I can do up to 3 sets (about 7-10 songs a piece) as the client/event requires. I like to get together with clients beforehand in order to further discus expectations of musical style and event requirements. I try to personalize each performance as much as I can so that every client has the best experience possible.
About
Starting in 2014, I decided to pursue a musical career seriously. Music has always played a major role in my life. Recently, I've started playing more local events. This has strengthened my desire to see my musical career flourish; and I have made it my goal to share a love of music with the world around me.

I am available to many different venue types. Lighting is not a part of my services. However, I will work with a lighting team if clients are willing to provide one for the event.

Set List
An eclectic mix of originals and covers of all genres. I try to be as flexible as possible for potential clientele. Stylistically, I normally reflect artists such as (but not limited to) John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Dave Barnes, Ed Sheeran, etc. However, I am willing to learn most anything. Typically I can fill a 1 - 3 hour set of music. I also have original songs from my first album that I integrate into sets, depending on the event.
