Joshua Carrigan, Bagpiper

We engaged Josh’s services for the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District Multicultural Celebration several months prior to the large-scale community-wide event. Upon meeting Josh, we found him to be extremely professional and well prepared for the two performances that we had scheduled with him. He arrived ahead of his scheduled time, dressed impeccably and ready to play. When inclement weather had changed some of our programming, Josh was quite flexible and offered suggestions to us. He tailored his musical selections to meet our needs and played a longer set of music to welcome visitors who were entering the Multicultural Celebration. Later in the evening he played a beautiful set for a crowd of at least a hundred people. As another reviewer has already mentioned, Josh is poised and mature beyond his years. We found Josh to be a very talented musician who clearly enjoys playing the Great Highland bagpipes and entertaining crowds with his beautiful musical interpretations of Scottish favorites. Our school district will definitely be contacting Josh to perform in our Multicultural celebration next year! On a personal note, I will tell my Scottish friends where they can find an excellent Great Highland bagpiper for their family events.

Joshua played the bagpipes at my father's funeral . I can imagine that this would be a difficult thing to do because of the nature of the event. He was FANTASTIC. Very professional, poised and communicated well with our family. He was able to play the songs that we requested, which was very important to us. Clearly has a very strong talent in playing the bagpipes and I would highly, without hesitation recommend him.
