Overview
Hey! My name is Joshua Luongo and I am songwriter/performer local to Charlottesville, VA. I perform both solo and with a band depending on venue capacity and have performed at places throughout Charlottesville and central Virginia such as Uptown Coffee House in Farmville, The Southern, First Free Coffee, Holly's Diner and Eunoia In Charlottesville. I am currently working on funding for my debut album and am willing to perform just about anywhere for the exposure!
I have performed at weddings, coffee shops, diners, churches (I was a music director for one), house parties and more!

I hosted Joshua at First Free Coffee Bar and thought he was an excellent performer. He made sure that the volume of his music was appropriate for the venue which is important for a place where people want to study or chitchat with friends and family. All of his songs were 100% family friendly which was great since First Free Coffee Bar caters to people of any age. I really enjoyed that he ended the performance with two songs that the audience was able to sing along to. I am thrilled to welcome him back to First Free Coffee Bar soon, and hope that you will join me!

What to Expect
I offer acoustic music, mostly folk/Americana type music. When I'm performing solo you can expect an acoustic guitar, some harmonica and a pump organ at my feet. I perform also with a full acoustic band when the occasion allows. Generally speaking the music will range from soft and mellow to upbeat. I perform mostly originals with covers thrown in.

Hey! My name is Joshua Luongo and I am a local, Charlottesville VA based singer-songwriter. I have been playing music and performing ever since I was a kid, and my dream has always been to make music my career, and now I am stepping out to make that dream come true. I perform originals and covers, and I also perform with a band or as a solo artist. I am currently working on recording my debut album and am looking to get as much exposure as possible in the interim!

Plenty of originals mixed with classical folk songs like "Shelter From the Storm," this is often mixed with more traditional songs like "Here in The Vineyard." I also perform plenty of 80's hits and modern songs like "Time After Time" or Music by hurray for the Riff Raff, Leif Vollebeck etc.
