Josie showed up and looked professional and acted professionally and played beautifully for my event. She made the air in the party feel festive and gay. Thank you so much for introducing me to her.

Josie,
Worked with me the whole time allowing me to find songs of my own. All my guests loved her! Her music really carried in my open space venue. Brides don't stress! If you are looking for someone reliable, Josie is the right one for you.
Response from Josie Quick-All Purpose Violinist:
Thank you so much Autumn! It was a beautiful wedding, and a pleasure to play for. All the best.
Josie did two events for us. She knew how to take the lead role when appropriate and when to step back. That's professionalism in action. If we are ever in the Colorado area again I would seek her out to support us.
Response from Josie Quick-All Purpose Violinist:
Thank you, Denise. It was a pleasure to work with you, and I hope to do so again!
Josie was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a violinist for our wedding. Josie was quick to communicate back to us, was willing to help us find sheet music for songs we specifically requested, and showed up exactly when she said she would.
I was very busy during the setup before our wedding and it was nice that I didn't have to worry about Josie. She arrived, set up, and started playing without any problems. The music sounded great and we really appreciated having her there.
Response from Josie Quick-All Purpose Violinist:
Thank you so much, Mike! It was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding. Many congratulations and wishes for a happy forever.

I arrive thirty to sixty minutes ahead of time to set up, depending on the size of the venue and ensemble desired. For most events I wear concert black, unless the event is very informal and the client has specified casual dress.
Weddings:
I/We start playing prelude music as the guests are being seated approximately twenty minutes before the ceremony starts. Then I/we will play ceremony music of your choice including music for bridesmaids, the bridal processional, incidental music, and a recessional. The we'll play postlude music as the guests leave the ceremony site. I am happy to learn one or two requests, provided that sheet music is readily available.
Parties, Gand Openings, and other Special Events:
As a strolling violinist, I usually play a mix of classical favorites, movie themes, and jazz standards. I have an evening's worth of love songs for Valentine's Day, Irish music for St. Paddy's and Italian music. Depending on the mood of the audience I'll play some gypsy or tango music. I've got decades of strolling violin experience, and I am adept at choosing music that's appropriate for the flow of the evening.
The jazz duo plays a mix of gypsy jazz and swing, drawing on classic jazz standards for repertoire. If the client asks we add some original contemporary jazz.
Josie holds a Bachelor's of Music from the prestigious Denver University's Lamont School of Music where she studied violin performance. Weddings, parties, open houses, grand openings, live music adds flair to any event. Josie performs as a soloist, with the Frontera String Quartet, or with guitarist Tom Carleno.
Josie is fluent in many musical styles, and can provide a classical string quartet, jazz ensemble, bluegrass band, blues rock band. She also performs live looping violin.
