J.O.T. aka GRANDE GATO aka James O. Terry jr. wants to encourage and give both young and old people in the world hope, and let them know that with faith and perseverance the impossible can become possible (J.O.T. knows what he is talking about because he was able to press up a CD album immediately after his Cancer went into remission). J.O.T. started writing what GOD had done because he held on to his faith(J.O.T. praised GOD even when he thought he was going to die, and believes that is why GOD healed him just as GOD healed JOB in the bible because JOB praised GOD even when it looked like he was going to die). Before he became saved, J.O.T. was a mobile Disc Jockey and could be found mixing and scratching records on the turntables at popular spots throughout NORTH CAROLINA. During that time J.O.T. started producing beats too, and then later writing song lyrics. This soon led J.O.T. to embark out on his own as a solo hip hop/rap artist. 1996 was the year that J.O.T. turned his life over to Christ and decided he wanted that to reflect in his music. That same year J.O.T. officially started up his Christian based company, SOUL-FULL PRODUCTIONS (The reason he spelled the company name with a hyphen in the middle and the letter L twice at the end of the name was to let the world know that his "SOUL" was "FULL" because he displayed the WORD OF GOD through what he did.) With three different subsidiary branches to SOUL-FULL PRODUCTIONS (Clothing line, Literature, and Record label branch) J.O.T. encouraged Christians not to get lazy in their ministry and non-Christians to see what Christ can do in any dreams they desire. As the first artist to come out on his independent record label, J.O.T. RECORDS, J.O.T. put out eleven CD albums, four CD singles, and seven 12" vinyl records (entitled NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT Presents¦volumes 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7). J.O.T. also has a music video which was shot on film near NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY where he is an alumnus & five books published as well. J.O.T. has been heard on SIRIUS satellite radio (Featured on TRUTH TALK LIVE during 2007 INTERVIEW with STU EPPERSON), major FM radio stations (Featured on THE TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW during 2008 INTERVIEW with RENEE VAUGHN of (link hidden)), and has appeared on major television news stations in the Piedmont Triad area (WXII, FOX 8, WFMY, and UPN 48 which has now changed to MY 48). He has performed live in both Miami, Florida (In 2003 at UMOJA FESTIVAL, in 2006 at I/O ENTERTAINMENT LOUNGE, in 2014 at the MIAMI CORE DJ MUSIC SHOWCASE hosted by DJ DNA from SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO, at MIAMI LIVE for 2017 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND), overseas in HAVANA, CUBA at MADRIGAL NIGHTCLUB and North Carolina (In 2002 at BENTON CONVENTION CENTER NEW YEARS EVE CONCERT hosted by WQMG FM disc jockey A.C. STOWE, in 2006 at CENTRO CRISTIANO OUTDOOR CONCERT, in 2007 at TWIN CITY RIB FEST, in 2008 at HISPANIC FESTIVAL’s “FIESTA”, annually from (phone number hidden)8 at the DIXIE CLASSIC FAIR, & at the POURHOUSE MUSIC HALL (Raleigh, NC). In 1998 J.O.T. started his Christian clothing line called SOUL-FULL WEAR in which he also designed and wore clothing pieces from. He also started up the female division of his clothing line, which is called LADY SOUL, and designed the first piece of clothing for the women's line (LADY SOUL is now run by J.O.T.'s female business partner). In 2004 J.O.T. published his first autobiography entitled ABOUT J.O.T.). The book talked about his music, his company SOUL-FULL PRODUCTIONS, and briefly about his ordeal with cancer. In 2006 J.O.T. had another book published called BREAKING STEREOTYPES, and promoted the 12" vinyl various artist project NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT Presents.... volume 4. In 2007 he produced the first online issue of his contemporary Christian SOUL-FULL magazine. In 2008 J.O.T. produced the second online issue of his contemporary Christian SOUL-FULL magazine., and along with his female business partner, co-authored and published a double book with two front covers (The first front cover is titled PEACEMAKER and when the book is flipped over the second front cover is displayed and it is titled I COULD HAVE GOTTEN REVENGE BUT I DIDN'T). Not ever losing momentum J.O.T. released another CD album in 2009 called PARA GANAR (IN ORDER TO WIN). The 2009 CD album was a collaboration with his business partner MS. CRYSTAL aka BONITA SENORITA. PARA GANAR (IN ORDER TO WIN) contains remixes of his previous 2006 CD album NITROGLYCERIN and also features some entirely new songs as well. J.O.T. also released a J.O.T. "LIVE" PERFORMANCE DVD that same year. In 2010 J.O.T. released CD album "ESA QUE PASA"("THAT'S WHAT'S UP") which also featured songs from his business partner MS. CRYSTAL. Also released in 2010 was the 12" vinyl NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT project(Volume#5) which featured his cancer testimony song and tracks like DO THE HOLY GHOST as well. J.O.T. has performed his cancer testimony song at a celebrity golf weekend gala event in FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, and also performed the cancer testimony song at a stage play about cancer to benefit cancer research. In 2011 J.O.T. released his CD album “LIMPIAR PALABRAS”(“TO CLEAN WORDS”) which features songs like the SPANISH house music remix of track “LIMPIAR PALABRAS and also an ENGLISH house music track by MS. CRYSTAL titled “SUPASTAR”. The CD “VERDAD”(“TRUE”), which is the ninth album from J.O.T.‘s indie record label J.O.T. RECORDS was officially released in 2012, continues to deliver SOUL-FULL sounds for CRISTO(CHRIST) while expanding into new forms of music genres such as the radio friendly reggaeton title track VERDAD which starts off the cd & on the third song which is a spanish snap dance track titled "CRISTO". Soon afterward the 2013 cd "NUEVA MUSICA”(“NEW MUSIC”), the tenth CD album for J.O.T. RECORDS, was released & not only featured jewels like the ENGLISH/SPANGLISH track GOOD vs EVIL but also a CHRISTMAS track remix of JINGLE BELLS(both songs as well as other tracks feature his music ministry partner MS. CRYSTAL aka BONITA SENORITA. In 2014 came the release of “ESTILO(STYLE)" cd album. The project featured brand new tracks "IF IT AIN't ONE THING IT's ANOTHER" written by MS. CRYSTAL & “SIN I BEAT IT" written by J.O.T., but also hot remixes to the "CANCER/MS rap" written by J.O.T. & "LIMPIAR PALABRAS" written by J.O.T. as well. In 2015 his "CANCER RAP" remix & Spanish Christian rap song "CRISTO" was released on the sixth vinyl record album project HE put out titled NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT vol#6. The “SOUL-FULL” cd album came out in 2016 & featured brand new sound with tracks such as “EVERYDAY I PRAISE HIM” & dance track titled “GOD TALKS TO ME”. The next cd album, “SOUL-FULL(pt2)” starts out fresh with a hot remixes to J.O.T. songs “SNOWFLAKES” & “LIMPIAR PALABRAS”. New songs like track “GLAD TO BE WITH YOU” by his wife & J.O.T. uplift while making you get up out your seat. In 2018 “SOUL-FULL(pt3) was released & had a new live drums remix to his CANCER RAP song & yet another remix to highly demanded song “SNOWFLAKES”. The most recent project, SOUL-FULL(pt4), has brand new tracks in 2019 such as Spanish rap song “MI VIDA ES BUENA” & uptempo cit “I LOVE MYSELF”. To date J.O.T. has put out FIFTEEN CD ALBUMS:

J.O.T. feels that through his ministry he will encourage people with cancer, those who may not have cancer but know people with the disease, and others as well.
