My background/mission:
I'm Sola (show-lah), a 1st generation Nigerian with a deep love for my country and my people. Music has been my savior since I was very young and remains my refuge till this day. My mission is to create this same experience for my audience every time. I aim to the highlight the healing element of Soul across genres and the world. Some of my favorite covers come from West and South Africa because no music gets you dancing your pain away like music from those countries! Let me take you on a trip you wont ever forget. You wont even have to leave the dance floor!
We hired Journey of the Electric Soul for our family holiday party located at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula, CA. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Sola has a beautiful and unique singing voice that makes all of the songs sound great! Her ability to play African drums and other instruments was awesome. Carlos on the guitar with a Latin background, compliments Sola's singing perfectly. We are so happy that we hired Journey of the Electric Soul...they were the highlight of our party!
