Judson Hurd

I sub contracted Judson to play a classical piano accompaniment for a wedding my band was playing the reception. The wedding couple were going to play a violin duet and needed a classical pianist. Two days before the wedding, the groom called after having a zoom rehearsal with Judson. At that time they asked me to release him from the job and did not want him to play at the wedding as they were not satisfied with his rehearsal. The only comment I could get from the groom was that he felt "Judson was not prepared."
I am in an awkward situation as I don't know all the details and if the complaints are justified, but do know that my client was unhappy.

Judson played at my wedding and it was exactly what I pictured! He was so kind and easy to work with. So talented and professional!

Judson was great to work with from the start. He sent us a playlist that had music he played to see if we like it. We then met with him via Zoom to talk over the event. He worked really well with the couple. He was professional, and did exactly what the couple wanted. He played the music they wanted to play in the piano and even had a playlist through his computer for the very specific songs they wanted for their first dance. 10/10 would recommend Judson.

I particularly enjoyed the subtle version of Creep by Radiohead - who knew you could play that on a Jazz Keyboard lol

Not only did he play everything we asked him to on the piano, he made my new son-in-law's dream come true by playing the organ as the newly married couple did their recessional. Judson not only took the time to learn specific songs for our wedding ceremony, he added his own special flare to some of the songs! He was so kind and easy to work with. I had Judson play the piano in my home during a house-warming party. Prior to the event Judson was very communicative. He arrived early and was warmed up and ready to go at the scheduled time. Judson played throughout the entirety of the event. He is extremely talented and was a pleasure to have in our home. Our guests enjoyed the music as well. Thank you!
