Julia played with 3 other colleagues at our fundraiser "A Ticket to Taste", raising funds for refugee resettlement here in Wilmington. The Wilmington Youth Symphony Orchestra was our featured performer and were flawless and very professional. The music added much to our event as people gathered and ate. Almost 250 people enjoyed the ensemble.

Julia Lensch is a well experienced violinist who started playing at the age of five. Up until eighth grade, she studied in the Stevenson Suzuki Studio with Anne Stohl and then switched teachers to the concertmaster of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra, Beverly Andrews. In November of 2012, Julia (a sophomore at the time) auditioned for the Richard R. Deas Concerto Competition and was the winner. On March 16, 2013 she performed Praeludium and Allegro by Fritz Kreisler with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. Julia can also play the electric violin if needed for your special event. Not only can Julia easily create a music program for your special event, but also is willing to take any music requests. If you have the music, she can play it!
