A graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, Julia served as the associate principal cellist of the Boulder Chamber Orchestra for six years and is active as a freelancer in Washington State. She has played with ensembles such as the Trans Siberian Orchestra, Boulder Ballet, the National Orchestral Institute Orchestra and the Boulder Philharmonic. As a session musician, Julia has appeared on several major film soundtracks.
A wide range of repertoire is available from classical to pop and rock arrangements.

Even though I didn't have much interaction with Julia since I was the bride and had a lot going on, from what I heard she was amazing. She played "you're my best friend" for us by queen for me to walk down the aisle to and took the extra time to put together herself to play solo. She's very easy to work with, very flexible and easy to talk to. Julia was amazing and helped make our day so special!
I had Julia record some cello parts for my album. I sent her samples of the songs along with sheet music and scheduled the recording session. She showed up very prepared and played beautifully. She was very easy to work with and we had a great session. I'd highly recommend Julia if you are recording an album and need to add cello.
