Julian is an award-winning British composer and musician based in upstate New York, where he writes, produces, and performs music for film, media, and theatre.
His theatre credits include: Snow Way Out (Composer) (York Theatre Developmental Reading Series); Academia Nuts (Composer) (Winner: Best New Musical, 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival); Spandex (Composer) (777 Theatre, New York); A Year With.... Veronica Sexton (Composer) (R.A.W Theatrical Duct Tape & A Dream Festival, New York); The Peculiar Tale… (Composer) (NYU, New York).
TV and film placements include: Keeping Up With The Kardashians (E! Entertainment); Passion Prohibida (Telemundo); Ten On Top (MTV); Barney's Barrier Reef (BBC); Boundless II (Esquire Network); Alien Python Hunt (National Geographic).
His music has been performed at Lincoln Center (NYC); Merkin Concert Hall (NYC); 54 Below (NYC); Barrington Stages (MA), St George’s Hall (Bradford) and used in theatre and media productions around the globe, including India, Hong Kong, South Africa, Australia and Dubai.
Julian has toured internationally with top UK tribute band Abba Forever, and with 70s crooners Smokie. He currently plays keyboards for the Cafe Wha? Band, and can be seen every week at the legendary Greenwich Village venue.
His dog, Parsley, tends to ghostwrite a lot of his music.
