Julio Amaro, Born in Venezuela and living in the U.S. since 1988, has been playing guitar since the age of 10. Self taught and with very diverse influences, from classical music to world music. He plays Buscarino Classical Starlight custom Guitar, Yamaha Classical and Yamaha Guitalele, all nylon strings. He uses the finger style, which allows him to play bass, rhythm and melody all at the same time creating a full sound from a single instrument. His styles include Latin American, Samba, Bossa Nova, Flamenco, Jazz, Standards, Caribbean, World Music, Folk, Pop, Rock and more. He can sing fluently in English, Spanish, Portuguese and can also sing in Italian and French. He is available for Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail parties, Private parties, Bar and Restaurants, Stage events or any special occasion. His clients include, the New York Yacht Club, Perro Salado Restaurant, Norey's Restaurant, Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Bristol Farm, Bristol Yacht Club and Rhode Island Country Club, as well as many private clients throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
