Don’t let the laid back name fool you, Just Dave Band is a charismatic and high energy country band that plays real country, but with tunes that even the most casual of listeners can party to. With 20 years of experience playing about 60 years worth of country, rock, and pop, we’re always learning new songs to keep your crowd happy (and dancing)! Words can not express how great Dave was! I hired him for my husbands 40th country birthday and Dave suppressed all expectations. He was exactly what I was looking for with his plethora of country songs (and non country songs) and his amazing voice. All the guests kept going on how amazing he is.
Country Band
I had hired a band previously used by family members. Four weeks before the performance they notified me they lost their lead singer and may need to cancel if unsuccessful in finding a replacement singer. So, I contacted gigsalad and was introduced to Dave, initially seeking a replacement band. Once Dave understood the predicament and checked his availability, he proposed I stay with the existing band and he would be the replacement singer. Naturally, I had concerns with how this would work with playlists. He assured me he would work closely with my band and it would all come together. Communication was key. he checked in with me regularly, assuring me it was coming together. And it did! Not only was Dave an accomplished musician but a delight in all of our dealings. While I cannot vouch for his band, I can definitely vouch for Dave. He is one quality musician and individual.
Country Band
I booked Just Dave for my retirement community's Country Fair event, and we are so happy with the result. From beginning to end, Dave and his team were professional and flexible to our needs. They played a great mix of newer and older songs, and even worked with our residents to find songs they could line dance to! To top it all off, one of our residents used to play in a country band, and brought out his fiddle to play with the band and they rolled with it! My residents were happy, my boss was happy (score!), and the event was elevated because of Just Dave's ability to roll with the day.
Overall, I would absolutely book Just Dave again!
