My name is Edgar Wise, a fully commissioned Notary Public, and an Ordained Minister residing in Broward County Florida.

I initially became a Notary Public in 2005, and maintained my commission until 2009. During this time I officiated two weddings, as a Notary, in Jacksonville Florida. Because I considered this to be a secondary function of my commission, I pursued more General Notary Work as opposed to weddings.

I experienced a sabbatical between 2009 and 2020, as a pursued other professional interests. During this time I supported more than 10 weddings by serving as a witness, assisting the coordinator with set up, and performed as a DJ for the receptions. Of course, these experiences only made me long to return to the role of Wedding Officiant.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a total game changer, for it presented me with the opportunity to recommission as a Notary Public, and launch a mobile and remote online notary business. This also presented me with the opportunity to reenter the world of the Wedding Officiant. It was also during this time that I became a Minister ordained by the Universal Life Church, which allows me to expand my reach as a Wedding Officiant nationwide.

I have officiated marriages ranging from elopements to weddings of as many as 300 guests.

My technical requirements are dictated by the ceremony and venue, but typically I would require microphones or sound system if available, and the venue dictates such a need.
