The Justin Pierce Jazz Group in trio form were asked to play for a post-funeral gathering for the friends, relatives and loved ones of the late Edward J. Relder of Garland, Texas as per his wishes. They consisted of bass, keyboards and saxophone and played every request thrown at them by the writer who knew the deceased's favorites. The group was tight, always on key and created a festive, and up-beat mood, just the thing to lift the spirits of those in attendance. I would hardily recommend them to anyone who loves good jazz.

My company recently hosted a semi-formal gala for our clients, and Justin and his group provided both the background dinner music as well as general dance music for the event. I found Justin incredibly professional and easy to work with. His musicians are all well accomplished players and his wife (who is the group's lead vocalist) has a lovely voice that adds dimension to the overall sound without overtaking the instrumentalists or the ambiance of the evening (as I have heard singers do in the past.) Our event called for more traditional jazz ballroom music, and Justin and his players accommodated wonderfully. I would certainly recommend contacting him, if you are looking to have an elegant, classy evening!

We hired a jazz trio for our event (Mr. Pierce on saxophone with a pianist and upright bass). I had originally requested just one special song a bit in advance, but a week or two before I added another slightly obscure song request and they performed it beautifully!
This group catered to our needs and delivered a great musical atmosphere to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Mr. Pierce is very professional in correspondence and quick to respond.

I had the pleasure of having the Justin Pierce Jazz Group play at a New Orleans-themed cooking demo at the event facility I manage. Not only did they arrive on time and completely prepared to perform, they gave one of the best jazz sets I've seen.

We had the four-piece band with drums, sax/clarinet, keys, and bass. Next time, we definitely would opt for the singer just because if they are that good with instruments only, I can only imagine the show they can do with vocals as well.

Justin Pierce did a really great job at our son's rehearsal dinner at Sky Creek Ranch in Keller Texas this July/2011. We went with the two piece group and and enjoyed wonderful music for hours. Justin gave us a very competitive price and we were blown away that the talent level was so high. The night would not have been the same without the live music. Justin is easy going and aims to please and I appreciate a talented musician and good businessman. The music was happy , jazzy and classy yet fun!

It has always been an absolute delight to work with Justin and his band. I have been fortunate enough to book them for 2 different venues and they have never once been anything less than pure professionals. From laid back wallpaper jazz to playing some of your favorites and even letting audience members sit in on occasion, shows their adaptability and commitment to keeping the crowd happy. I'm personally a bit sad that they have moved a bit too far away to book them much these days, but they do come with my absolute highest recommendation and my utmost respect.
