Hello! My name is Justin Shaw, and I live in Charleston, South Carolina. I have been playing drums for 25+ years, and I am a local drum instructor here in Charleston. I started playing drums in church when I was 5 years old, and I played all through middle and high school in marching band, jazz band, and winter drum line, so I am well-versed in a lot of areas. I have played for various churches, recorded in studio, and performed at several conferences and events throughout the years.

As long as I have the music ahead of time, I will be 100% prepared. I have all the drum equipment needed to perform any gig, with the exception of drum microphones. I can stay behind the drums and play in the pocket all day/night, or I can do some crowd work if the show calls for it.
