Absolutely loved Julie and her awesome team. My wedding was beyond perfect in every way. Julie's attention to detail blew myself and my guests away. The photographer had the best personality and captured every moment perfectly. The videographer and her style was exactly what I was looking for. Our reception decor was so elegant and classy. She knew what I was envisioning and brought it to life. Our DJ kept the timeline running smoothly and had our family and friends dancing to the end. Julie suggested a photo booth and a candy buffet for some fun and a cute favor. I never expected what both of those added to the evening. The set ups for both were beautiful! I love my scrapbook and I am so thankful to have found Julie. Our wedding was more than we could have hoped for and I thank her from the bottom of my heart.
We were very happy with Juliet and her staff. Though there was some confusion about start time for the photo booth, all was fine! The guests thoroughly enjoyed this feature at my son's wedding and had fun with the accessories provided. Juliet was easy to work with and responded promptly to my requests. We got married October 4 2014 at the Sundy House . Julie is outstanding everything was perfect for the day of the wedding she went over and beyond our expectations! Everybody loved the decorations and the DJ was so much fun! Rich was absolutely amazing and his beautiful pictures captured every moment. Julie and the JX3 staff were early and set up way before the party began. They are extremely professional and exceeded our expectations in many ways. All of our music is clean and up to date. Any music we may not have that you have requested, will be ordered and set into your play list long before your date. We have many options to choose from if you are unable to chose some of the songs for a specific portion of your event. "Lighting creates a mood" This is extremely true...When done well, lighting can turn your event venue from simple to stunning, and make everything from your flowers, cake, and decorations look better. Even your photographs and video will benefit from a little extra effort in planning your event lighting.
JX3 Events & Entertainment Lighting Types
There are a couple different types of lighting effects used at events:
Up Lights: You can use up lighting for accent lighting ( maybe just lighting up an area of a room, or pillars, or the head table, etc), or you can spread many of them out all over your venue and create a wash of color. There are two types of lights used to create the up lighting effect: Traditional par cans and LED lights. LED lights are strongly recommend because they use much less power and stay cool all night. Traditional par cans get very, very hot and use a ton of electricity. Many venues don't allow traditional par cans because they can be a fire hazard. Wherever you get the lights, make sure they are LED for best results.
Gobos: Gobos are used to project monograms, dates, or even stenciled patterns. Simple gobos can be stamped out of steel and more complex gobos can be made from glass. To get this effect, you'll need a gobo projector, the actual gobo, and something to hang the gobo projector from.
Pin Spot: A pin spot is a more focused beam of light. These are designed to shine directly onto an object. Pin spots are most commonly used at events to highlight table cakes and or centerpieces.
